Junior middle school travel composition: Happy trip to Xinjiang

"Boom, boom, boom..." We boarded the train for our dream trip to Xinjiang.

Along the way, the air was fresh and sweet, and the sky was deep blue. The continuous mountains and dense branches and leaves are clearly visible.

First of all, in Lanzhou we saw the Zhongshan Bridge with a long history, which is known as "the best bridge in the world". It is not only beautiful in appearance, but also very strong. The entire bridge is made of iron. . Below the Zhongshan Bridge is the Yellow River. There is a mother lying on the bank, stroking her child. This is the Yellow River Mother Statue. Here, we understand that the Yellow River is the birthplace of the Chinese nation, and she is our mother river. We should better protect the Mother River. We took the first commemorative photo of this trip here!

Then, we rushed to Jiayuguan, known as "the most majestic pass in the world"! , which is the westernmost end of the Great Wall. The Jiayuguan Tower is very majestic and has several doors, one of which has an extra brick on it. There is a beautiful legend about this brick! A general asked the minister to use 99,999 bricks to repair the city wall. The general deliberately put an extra brick and said if there is one more brick, if there is one less brick, you will bring your head to see me. After the minister finished repairing, he found an extra brick. At this time, a god ordered the minister to put the brick on top of the city gate. The minister refused, and the sky became dark and the city wall was about to collapse. The minister hurriedly put the brick in place. . Soon, the general came to check and found that there was an extra brick, so he asked to find out. The minister told him the story he had made up, and the general believed it. Since then, the wall has never collapsed again. The trip to Jiayuguan gave me a deeper understanding of the diligence, bravery and wisdom of the ancient working people!

Then, we took the train to Dunhuang. We first visited the Mogao Grottoes, commonly known as Thousand Buddha Cave, and then visited two scenic spots, Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Moon Spring. Mingsha Mountain blows gusts of 5 to 6 levels every night. When the wind blows, the sand will make a "swishing" sound, hence the name. What caught our eyes were very strange small sand dunes. There were teams of camels walking on the back of the sand dunes, which looked like a beautiful desert landscape painting, so my mother and I couldn't wait to ride the camels and slowly walked to the top of Mingsha Mountain. We sang happily along the way. When we reached the top of the mountain, we looked around and saw the vast desert. Just when we were sighing that there was no grass growing here and there was no trace of green, my eyes were attracted by the small square of green at the foot of Mingsha Mountain. It is the legendary Crescent Moon Spring. Because this clear spring looks like a crescent moon from above, people called it Crescent Moon Spring. So, we skied down from the top of the mountain and ran quickly to the Crescent Moon Spring. Crescent Moon Spring, I looked at it and said, "Wow! Are there blue springs in the desert? ! How incredible! Why is there water only here but not elsewhere? Why do trees grow only here and not in other places? "It's so amazing!

Later, we came to Turpan, a veritable "Fire Continent". As soon as we got off the car, we felt a heat wave. The temperature here was as high as 40 degrees. It was truly a "Fire Continent". Ah! Knowing that there are tigers in the mountains, we went to Hushan. Braving the scorching heat and the heat wave, we came to the famous Flame Mountain. The soil on the mountain was so red that it seemed like the whole mountain was on fire. What caught our eye was the big, round pillar. How many people did it take to surround it? It turned out to be an electronic thermometer about 20 meters high, known as the Dinghaishen Needle. At this time, it showed a temperature of 71 degrees. We were amazed.

Then, I remembered the unbearable heat when Tang Monk and his disciples went to the West to fetch scriptures and passed by this place. I really wanted to borrow Princess Iron Fan’s banana fan to make this place cool and pleasant!

There are so many beautiful scenery in Xinjiang. We also visited the endless Nalati Prairie, the beautiful Yaochi Wonderland Tianshan Tianchi, Horgos Port, Grape Valley, Jiaohe Ancient City... along the way , I also got to know a lot of children. I traveled and played with them. I was so happy!

Ah, what an unforgettable and happy trip this is. I am proud that my motherland has such beautiful scenery!
