Tourism resources in Duozhu town

Nanshan Drifting is located on the Nanshan River in Changkeng Village, Duozhu Town, Huidong County, 25 kilometers away from the county seat, with a population of more than 4,000 people, including more than 200 people from Tingde Natural Village, a national minority, and the Doctor's Ancestral Temple (Tiankeng Natural Village), an ancient cultural protection unit. It's beautiful and outstanding.

On the banks of Nanshan River, the seasons are like spring and the scenery is beautiful. There are towering old trees, jagged rocks and more than ten waterfalls on the mountain, which are very spectacular. The streams are crystal clear, the fish are swimming around, the shrimps are playing and the scenery is picturesque, which makes Nanshan look particularly enchanting.

The whole drifting journey is 5 kilometers and the drifting time is about 2 hours. The starting point is the fish-jumping cave in the upper reaches of Nanshan River. Drifting warriors braved the wind and waves all the way, rushing down, driving a gas boat, and sometimes encountering rapids and dangerous beaches, which was close to the eye and exciting, and sometimes gently patting the shore. Warriors have fun playing with fish and shrimp.

Boarding longyan temple with a history of more than 300 years, you can enjoy the sea of clouds in Nanshan, the wonders of temples, and the magical spring water under the dragon tongue stone, which reminds people of the touching story of "the gods lead the way". Throughout the ages, people who come here for sightseeing burn incense and ask for visas in an endless stream, and incense continues all year round.

Huangsiyangguwei village

"Huangsiyang", also known as Huangshayang, is located in the west branch of the river, 25km away from Huidong County and 1 km away from Duozhu Town. The ancient buildings in Huangsiyang Guwei Village were built according to the requirements of "building, controlling and preventing", with ingenious construction technology and oriental style of home ecology and secular traditional culture.

The ancient building complex was built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, covering an area of about 200,000 square meters. The buildings are interconnected, with huge buildings and thousands of people, forming an ancient Dawei village. There are gates, temples, Qingsiguan, academies and schools in the buildings of Guwei Village. There are nearly 10 wells in the village, with sweet water quality and long service life.

Except for the ancestral hall, most of the buildings are of beam-frame palace structure, and most of the houses are of two-entry or three-entry hard mountain structure. Eaves, doors and windows, there are gray plastic, stone carving and wood carving. These are based on bats, dragons, deer, flowers and plants, indicating good luck. The whole painting is vivid, rich in content, ornate in decoration and exquisite in craftsmanship. It can be called the essence of Lingnan folk architecture decoration, and it also contains the connotation of ancient cultural heritage of Guwei Village. Huangsiyang Guwei Village reached its heyday in the Qing Dynasty. The villagers attach great importance to culture. When they were rich in business, they established private schools, study rooms and schools. There are more than a dozen reading rooms in the village.

The villagers believe that being an official is a just act of Guangzong Yaozu and descendants of Yin Fu. According to records, there are more than 20 scholars and juren in the examination, and the official residence is one to six. Exquisite gold-plated plaques and couplets can be seen everywhere in the village, including Wukuilou, Hanlindi, Dafu, Jiangjundi and Dewey. There are more than 40 stone pillars. Every juren in the village erected two flagpole clips, indicating the year number and surname. This is a sign of "ten years of cold window, fame in one fell swoop".
