The history and culture of Dalian Jinshitan National Tourist Resort

In 1988, it was designated as a national scenic spot;

In October 1992, the State Council approved the establishment of a national tourist resort.

In 2000, it was rated as one of the first batch of national AAAA tourist attractions in the country.

In 2002, it passed the ISO9001 and ISO14001 international quality and environmental system certifications.

In 2005, it was approved as a Coastal National Geopark.

In 2007, Jinshitan International Car Campground won the plaque of "National Demonstration Base".

In 2008, Discovery Kingdom was awarded the title of "National Cultural Industry Demonstration Base".

In 2009, Jinshitan won the title of "Top Ten Scenic Areas with the Best Ecological Environment Protection in China".

In January 2011, with the approval of the National Tourism Administration, Dalian Jinshitan Scenic Area passed the national AAAAA level tourist attraction acceptance and entered the highest level of national A-level scenic spots.

The whole area is mainly composed of the eastern peninsula, the western peninsula and the open hinterland and bathing beaches between the two peninsulas. The land area is 62 square kilometers, the sea area is 58 square kilometers, and the coastline is 30 kilometers long.
