Last summer vacation, my family and I went to Hainan. The weather is terrible! The sky is bluer than I can describe, and the sea is bluer and brighter than I can believe. Walking by the sea is like painting! We sailed to an island called West Island. I swam there. Swimming in the sea is very different from swimming in the pool. Because the depth changes all the time. During the seven-day holiday, my mother and I went to Shanghai. It took us more than two hours to drive from my home in Haimen to Shanghai. We live on the eighth floor of a big hotel. On the first day, I just stayed in the hotel to rest. The next day, my brother and I went to Nanjing Road. This is the busiest street in Shanghai. When we got there, there were many people. We walked from shop to shop. I bought two T-shirts and two pairs of trousers this summer. The T-shirts and trousers I bought are all white, because white is my favorite color. My brother also bought some clothes. On the third day, my mother took me to Jinjiang Entertainment Center. It was crowded with people. I played many kinds of games there. I am having a swell time. A few days ago, I went to some other interesting places, such as the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Huangpu River and Shanghai International Conference Center. I didn't forget to do my homework at night. I had a full and happy holiday.
