Refund rules for air tickets during the epidemic

The conditions for full refund of air tickets during the epidemic are high-risk areas, high-risk areas, regional travel, if city air tickets are closed, all air tickets and train tickets must be paid in full. Due to the epidemic, if the train for which the ticket has been purchased is suspended or unsuitable for travel due to the epidemic in the place of departure, and a refund is required, no handling fee will be charged for the refund. It is not caused by the epidemic. Although it is during the epidemic, if the refund is not due to the epidemic but due to personal reasons, the refund handling fee will be calculated based on the refund time.

Legal Basis

"Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases" Article 42 When an infectious disease breaks out or becomes popular, the local people's government at or above the county level shall immediately organize Strength, prevent and control in accordance with prevention and control plans, and cut off the transmission routes of infectious diseases. If necessary, upon reporting to the people's government at the next higher level for decision, the following emergency measures may be taken and announced:

(1) Restrict or Stop markets, theater performances or other crowd gathering activities;

(2) Suspension of work, business, and classes;

(3) Close or seal public places contaminated by infectious pathogens* **Drinking water sources, food and related items;

(4) Control or culling infected wild animals, livestock and poultry;

(5) Closure of places that may cause the spread of infectious diseases place.

When the higher-level people's government receives a report from the lower-level people's government on the adoption of emergency measures listed in the preceding paragraph, it shall make an immediate decision.

The lifting of emergency measures shall be decided and announced by the original decision-making authority.
