Brief introduction of Tanshanling town

Tanshanling Town is located 70 kilometers south of Tianzhu County, and was established after the withdrawal of the district and the merger of the township in June 1985. It borders Shimen Town of our county in the east, Maya Snow Mountain in Menyuan County of Qinghai Province in the north, Saishish Town of our county in the south, Paradise Township of our county and Huzhu County of Qinghai Province in the west. Shi Tian Highway and Yongtian Highway run through the town. There are 9 village committees, 3 neighborhood committees and 36 villagers' groups in the town, with 3 162 households and 18342 people, including agriculture 1620 households and 722/kloc-0 people, with a total area of 356.5 square kilometers and an annual average temperature of about1person. The territory is high in the north and low in the south, with an average elevation of 220 1 ~ 4446 meters. There are mainly Maya Snow Mountain, Wutai Mountain, Daling, Baishi Gushida, Gangsen Mountain and Shanduo Mountain. Jinsha Gorge with beautiful scenery is one of the "Three Gorges of Tianzhu", and Tianchi, Xiaoshimengou and their medicinal springs are located in Baishi Gushida. The territory is high in the north and low in the south, with an average elevation of 220 1 ~ 4446 meters. The main mountain ranges are Maya Snow Mountain, Wutai Mountain, Daling Mountain, Gangsen Mountain and Shanduo Mountain. Jinsha Gorge with beautiful scenery is one of the "Three Gorges in Tianzhu", and Tianchi, Xiaoshimengou and Yaoshui Shenquan are all famous tourist attractions in the county. The annual average temperature is 2.05℃ and the annual average precipitation is 480mm. The cultivated land area is 975 1 mu, of which 300 mu is irrigated, and wheat, potatoes, rape and peas are planted.
