Travel preparation

Attire: sweatpants, sneakers, short sleeves, backpack, and a jacket.

Mounting supplies: sunscreen, knee pads, hiking poles.

Other supplies: paper towels, charging equipment, water (a small amount), snacks (a small amount), raincoat (spare), Huoxiang Zhengqi liquid, glucose (spare).

*Tip: You can bring some daily necessities according to your personal needs, but try to bring as little as possible. The lighter the weight of the backpack, the better.

Walking route

DAY1: Wuxiangang - Xianfeng Temple (about 22.5km)

Depart from Wuxiangang at 10:00 in the morning - Qingyin Pinghu ——Qingyin Pavilion—One Line of Sky—Natural Ecological Monkey Area—Hongchunping (Lunch)—Ninety-nine Road Turns—Lingxiao Pavilion—Arrived at Xianfeng Temple (Jiulao Cave) at 4:30 pm.

DAY2: Xianfeng Temple - Leidongping (about 20km)

Depart from Xianfeng Temple at 8:00 in the morning - Yuxian Temple - Zuantianpo - Xixiangchi (Lunch) - Arrive at Leidongping at 3:00 pm - Take a sightseeing bus down the mountain. < /p>

Downward: After hiking to Leidongping, take a sightseeing bus to Emeishan Tourist Passenger Transport Center (Baoguo Temple)/Huangwan Visitor Center.

Passing Attractions

Qingyin Pinghu: On the way from Wuxiangang to Qingyin Pavilion, you will pass by Qingyin Pinghu and see the scenery on the shore reflected in the "mirror".

Qingyin Pavilion: Walk about 2.6km from Wuxiangang to Qingyin Pavilion, a famous summer resort in Mount Emei. The "Double Bridge Qingyin", one of the ten scenic spots in Emei, must live up to its reputation.

Yixiantian: If you go further, you will pass by Yixiantian, which is as its name suggests.

Ecological Monkey Area: After passing through the sky, you can reach the natural ecological monkey area by walking 220m further.

Tip: The monkeys in Mount Emei are a little willful, so please pay attention to your safety.

Hongchunping: After passing the ecological monkey area, walk 4.5km to Hongchunping. Here we will feel the scenery of "Hongchun Dawn Rain" that looks like rain but not rain, and looks like fog but not fog.

Before arriving at Xianfeng Temple, you will pass through the legendary ninety-nine turns.

Xianfeng Temple: Xianfeng Temple, named for its proximity to Xianfeng Rock, is 1,750 meters above sea level. There is an ancient cave in the forest behind the temple. This is the most legendary scene among the ten scenic spots in Mount Emei, the "Nine Peaks". "Old Immortal Mansion".

Yuxian Temple: It is about 7.5km from Xianfeng Temple to Yuxian Temple. Legend has it that someone met an immortal here in ancient times and named it Yuxian Temple.

Tip: You may encounter wild monkeys on this road. Please pay attention to safety, do not hold anything in your hands, just tighten your backpack and walk quietly.

Xixiang Pond: Walk another 5km to reach the Xixiang Pond. You will pass through the Zuantian Slope. After climbing the Zuantian Slope, you can see the Xixiang Pond. It is the best place to enjoy the moon in the whole mountain. Therefore, "Xiangchi Night Moon" is also one of the ten scenic spots in Mount Emei.
