The most beautiful Wuyuan< /p>
Wuyuan, located in the northern part of Jiangxi Province, is known as "the most beautiful countryside in China". In spring, the rapeseed fields all over the mountains and the well-preserved Huizhou architectural complex are the signatures of Wuyuan tourism.
The sea of ??rapeseed flowers that fill the mountains and plains every spring is undoubtedly the most popular tourist resource in Wuyuan. Whenever the flower season comes, Wuyuan Huangling, known as one of the "Four Flower Seas in China", will welcome a large number of travelers and photography enthusiasts. In addition to rapeseed flowers, Wuyuan in autumn is also the best place to watch red leaves. The red leaves set against the simple buildings bring Wuyuan a different kind of vitality before winter.
The Huizhou architecture with white walls and black tiles adds an antique texture to Wuyuan. This is one of the best preserved ancient buildings in Huizhou, my country, and is known as the "Ancient Architecture Museum". Whether it is Zhu Xi’s ancestral residence on Ziyang Ancient Street, Likeng surrounded by mountains, or Sixiyan Village, the filming location of “Liao Zhai”, they are all excellent places to appreciate the ancient architecture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Likeng
Likeng is a small waterside village surrounded by mountains. The ancient buildings are well preserved and the layout is very unique. Two mountain streams outside the village merge into a small river in the village. Huizhou folk houses are built along the water on both sides of the stream. In front of the village is a large field of rapeseed flowers. After spring, the mountains and fields are covered with golden color.
The village also preserves the former residence of Li Zhicheng, the champion of martial arts in the Southern Song Dynasty. Going up the mountain along the path behind the village, you can overlook the panoramic view of Likeng. There are arch bridges, pavilions, temples and courtyards in the village. After entering the village, there are many shops along the street, mainly selling Hui style wood carvings and dragon tail inkstones, which are specialties here. There are also many "farmhouses" where you can stay and eat.
Wangkou
Wangkou is an ancient Huizhou village on the east line of Wuyuan where the Yu surname mainly lives together. It is located on one side of the river, opposite to the undulating Xiangshan Mountains. The long street that runs through both ends of the village is called Guanlu Zheng Street, which is known as the "Millennium Ancient Street". After visiting this road, you have basically finished shopping in Wangkou.
The lives of the villagers here are not disturbed too much by tourists. The small shops on both sides of the street mainly sell groceries to meet the daily needs of the village. The Yu Family Ancestral Hall, built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, is worth a visit. The entire ancestral hall is famous for its exquisite carving craftsmanship and is known as the "Palace of Art".
The main landscapes include the towering double pavilions, the shade of maple camphor, the Jinshi Hall, the Dafu Hall, the Ronglu Hall, the Jiang Family Ancestral Hall, the brick door cover, the health-preserving river and the ancient pedestal. The ancient poem "The old trees are high and the houses are low, the setting sun is far and near the mountains, the forest tops are like smoke, and the water outside the village is like a ring." This ancient poem vividly describes the beautiful mountains and waters of Xiaoqi Village.
Qingyuan Village
Qingyuan Village is known as a small peach garden. It has been isolated from the world for a long time, with honest folk customs, pleasant scenery, high mountains and clear air, fertile soil and heavy fog, and fresh and uncontaminated air. Thin dust, the spring water is clear and full of spiritual energy. Rapeseed flowers, pear flowers and peach blossoms were in full bloom at the same time, shrouding Qingyuan people in a scene of "golden mountains, silver seas, and rouge clouds".
Wulong Mountain in spring, the golden rape flowers at the foot of the mountain in March, the azalea flowers on the top of the mountain in May, the winding river, flowing into the high mountain Pinghu like a sky mirror, and you can also stand on it. The top of the mountain overlooks the Huizhou villages at the foot of the mountain. When visiting Wulong Mountain, along the way there are ancient nunneries and ancient tombs that record history, stone houses where an old man lived in seclusion halfway up the mountain, and mysterious and legendary treasure maps.
