Where to go for fun on March 8th?
The interesting places for the March 8th Festival are the Summer Palace, Gongwangfu, Zhenjiang Museum, Chaotian Palace and Shanghai Grand View Garden.
1. Summer Palace:
The Summer Palace, formerly known as Qingyi Garden, is located in the western suburbs of Beijing, 15 kilometers away from the urban area, covering an area of 3.9 square kilometers, accounting for about three quarters of the water surface, and adjacent to Yuanmingyuan.
it is a large-scale landscape garden based on Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain, and based on the West Lake in Hangzhou, drawing on the design techniques of Jiangnan gardens. It is also the most complete preserved royal palace, and is known as the Royal Garden Museum.
2. Gongwangfu:
Gongwangfu and Garden, a national 5A-level tourist scenic spot, is the largest palace in the Qing Dynasty, which was once the residence of He Shen and Qing Wangyonglin. In the first year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty, Prince Gong Yixin became the owner of the house, hence the name of Prince Gong's Mansion.
3. Zhenjiang Museum:
Zhenjiang Museum is located at No.85, Boxian Road, Runzhou District, Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. The new exhibition hall of Zhenjiang Museum covers an area of 5,3 square meters, with a construction area of 5,158 square meters. After the new exhibition hall is completed, the area of the whole museum will be expanded to 2, square meters, and the building area will also be expanded to 1,6 square meters. It is a comprehensive museum of local history under the jurisdiction of Zhenjiang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism.
4. Chaotian Palace:
Located in Shuiximen, Qinhuai District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, Chaotian Palace is the highest-ranking, largest and most well-preserved official ancient architectural complex in the south of the Yangtze River, and is known as the first scenic spot in Jinling.
5. Shanghai Grand View Garden:
Shanghai Grand View Garden is located at No.71 Qingshang Road, Qingpu District, Shanghai, on the west side of Dianshan Lake, 65 kilometers away from Shanghai, covering an area of 135 mu, with a construction area of about 8, square meters. It is a key unit of spiritual civilization construction in Shanghai. After many renovations and expansions, it is a comprehensive amusement park integrating sightseeing, tourism and leisure.
