You all know the inside story of traveling with a group, right?
I have explained in detail enough, including the recent tour organized by Lao Zhu, but I was finally stuck.
Pit 1: self-funded projects, battery cars, small trains and cruise ships.
Because there are many elderly people, I signed up for a pure play group, did not shop and ate well. If you want to come, you have nothing to worry about. Nobody knows. Self-funded projects are the first magic weapon for travel agencies to make more money. Every scenic spot in the basic city has its own projects, such as boats, small trains, battery cars and cable cars. The price is extremely expensive, and it is not in the same place as the entrance to the regular scenic spot, so it is generally unnecessary to participate. But if you join a group, you need a strong heart. If not, don't participate in this self-funded project! Tour guides usually tell friends far away that a certain scenic spot is so big that you can leave without looking at anything, otherwise you will be very tired; If you don't take the waterway, you will miss the wonderful scenery; In other words, it is more cost-effective to buy through a travel agency and enjoy preferential prices than to buy it yourself at that time.
After some intimidation and inducement, you started to sign up. If you participate, you will pay. At this time, you will find a car full of people, and basically everyone will sign up. Can I not sign up?
Of course, the tour guide has a good attitude, but I will tell you that your family is special because everyone has signed up for their own projects. When you get to the scenic spot, you can buy your own tickets to play, and others can enter the scenic spot from another entrance by boat!
The main attractions are like this!
If you don't stop signing up, you and I will be isolated, and no one will buy you tickets or show you the way. Go to the meeting by yourself. Faced with this situation, what would you do? Therefore, these self-funded projects, called voluntary choice, are actually compulsory consumption in disguise. Somewhere in the Bird's Nest, 5 minutes by train from the square, 70 yuan/person! Friends! I left by myself, only 10 minutes.
Pit 2: Gesi project, performance, massage, island.
Domestic travel
Generally, you will meet a tour guide to recommend some performances. For example, in Thailand, the tour guide brainwashed everyone from the first day. How wonderful the performance of so-and-so is will arouse your curiosity. Then one day during the trip, use the free time during the trip to let everyone sign up. Those who are willing to go will pay separately. Basically, after reading it, I must be cursing, the price/performance ratio is too low, there are too many boasting ingredients, and most of them are poor in performance.
The same is true for traveling in China. The usual opening remarks of tour guides are as follows: Just now, a tourist asked me, guide, do you think there is still time this afternoon?
Pit 3: Master calligraphy, sold in a limited time. This thing basically comes across once a year.
This routine always appears in all kinds of theater performances from time to time.
This group tour, I arranged to see a performance of a famous cross talk theater, which was really bad. A ***4 program, the second program is calligraphy, claiming that they specially invited a master of calligraphy, and it is difficult to get benefits. The master splashed ink on the spot and wrote a few words. Then see which audience raises their hands quickly and give them away for free! Then there is a limited number of five framed calligraphy, which is completely welfare. There is only one in 300 yuan. Let's catch it!
My aunt was tempted and raised her hand, which was immediately stopped by me.
Regardless of whether he is a master or not, even if he is really a calligrapher, it is not a problem to write hundreds of paintings a day. not worth a penny
The fourth pit: big tickets, small tickets
Sometimes, when the price of a tourist product is favorable, it actually only includes basic consumption, so we must see it clearly.
A typical example is tickets.
You thought the Yuanmingyuan was included in the quotation, and you didn't know it was a big ticket until you arrived. I still have the receipt!
And as the essence of the website, you have to buy a small ticket to get in.
In addition, like the Summer Palace, many scenic spots need to buy tickets separately after entering. This situation is also very common in many scenic spots in China. The travel agency's quotation, because of competition and in order to make customers feel cost-effective, actually contains only the big tickets for these scenic spots intentionally or unintentionally. When I arrived at the scene, I found it was a pit, so I could only secretly scold your mother.
Therefore, before signing up for a tour, we must find out the composition of the tickets, not just the price.
The fifth pit: attractions shopping, jade, precious stones, medicinal materials.
Where there is a scenic spot, there must be a shopping area, which is usually the exit of the scenic spot, so you must pass by.
This obvious shopping is nothing more than a routine.
What needs to be guarded against is disguised sales promotion in the name of lectures and popular science. It looks high, but it is actually brainwashing and wasting money.
A group of people went to visit an ancient building. Before the official visit, they were taken to a small room on the first floor (the whole floor is divided into several such small rooms, and several tour groups can be arranged at the same time). Then a middle-aged man named deputy curator came out to explain the knowledge about Feng Shui.
Before that, the tour guide had already laid the groundwork in the car. The ancient building of geomantic omen is the seat of a famous research institute. How awesome are the people inside? How many celebrities have seen Feng Shui and solved problems?
After Feng Shui, I continued to take it to an exhibition hall full of small stools and began to talk about the products I wanted to sell. Then, a master comes out, observes the target object, grabs it and hypnotizes it. Sure enough, the two big guys were invited back to protect their safety and property. At least 20,000 cases were visually observed.
Some time ago, some relatives went to Lushan Mountain, and the tour fee was only a few hundred. As a result, they bought a silk quilt and asked the price, 1000! It seems to be hypnotized!
Pit 6: selling specialty products in the car.
At the end of the trip, it's time for the tour guide to go on stage and sell the products himself. Generally, they are local specialties. Usually on the second or third day of the trip, the tour guide will make preparations first. I will tell you seriously, don't buy those specialties in the scenic spot, because they are expensive and poor, and you can't find anyone if something goes wrong. Tourists will think that this tour guide is very good and responsible, helping us to prevent lightning strikes. The tour guide will continue to remind you that if you really want to take something home and have no time to buy it, please call me. Manufacturers can get the goods directly, with low price and good quality. If you have any problems, you can find someone at any time and you can't run away.
If it eats food, it will take out a bag for tourists to taste. If it has medicine, such as Thai herbal ointment, it will often be taken out for you to try. Apply a little when mosquitoes bite, a little when they are sleepy, and a little when they get heatstroke.
In the next day or two, I will accept the reservation in the car.
From my observation, someone will definitely buy it, and the quantity is not small. To put it bluntly, I always feel that I should bring something with local characteristics when I come out. I don't have time, and I don't want to go out and look for it. Since the tour guide is so reliable, buy some. After purchasing, you usually encounter the following problems:
1. The price of the same commodity in the local supermarket is much lower. Such as roast duck, dried mango, cigarettes and perfume.
What you get and what the tour guide shows you are not brands. For example, Qinghai yak meat tastes like a brand-name bag and tastes good. When you really get the goods, you find that this is simply three products. Get your own packaging bag!
It is a brand, but if you look closely, you will find that it is a different model. You think you bought a cigarette from 250 yuan, but it was actually from 150 yuan.
Generally, as long as you travel with a group and take precautions, you can avoid these six big pits. More or less, you have to play a few. The key lies in the precise arrangement of travel agencies and the use of some weaknesses of human nature.
