Personally, the purple pottery produced in Jianshui, Yunnan Province is the best value for money, which is probably the same kind of travel souvenir that I bought the most. Jianshui Zitao is a handmade product, which is said to have a long history. Especially in recent years, Jianshui Zitao has gradually become famous and its value has doubled. Many years ago, I knew that Jianshui Steam Pot was famous at home and abroad, but I didn't know there were so many wonderful ceramic works. Purple pottery works have beautiful calligraphy and traditional pictures of China, and the colors are properly matched. The pottery surface is smooth, silky and antique, which makes people fondle it. Best of all, these works are all made of mud, without any pigment or glaze. All the words and paintings are drawn and molded, and calligraphers and painters are invited to write and draw. Craftsmen outline the painter's works with mud of different colors, then fire them in a special kiln, and then polish them to get the final works.
