Li Jinzao, director of the National Tourism Administration, said at the recent global tourism seminar held by the National Tourism Administration that the development of global tourism has changed from a single spark to a prairie fire, showing great vitality and vigor.

Under the background of the development of information technology, online payment and artificial intelligence, the employment pressure of the population will increase, and the personalized and emotional consumption demand will exceed the material consumption demand.

Global tourism takes a whole area as a scenic spot, is a kind of systematic tourism with panoramic space, and is a fundamental change in the concept and mode of tourism development. Zhang Hui, director of the Tourism Department of Beijing Jiaotong University, said that the key to global tourism development is to enhance the added value of tourism-related culture, society, environment and industry, and integrate related resources and industries with tourism consumption as a platform.

Zhang Hui said that the post-industrial society should pay equal attention to tourism and industrialization, and global tourism should be people-oriented and take ecology as the core, which can not only give play to the unique ecological and cultural advantages of the central and western regions and remote areas, but also drive the vast rural areas to improve infrastructure and public services and achieve poverty alleviation.

In view of the transformation of tourism development mode, Dai Xuefeng, director of the Tourism and Leisure Research Office of the Institute of Finance and Economics of China Academy of Social Sciences, believes that the top-level design of global tourism should be strengthened, top-down reform should be realized, the vitality of grassroots reform and innovation should be stimulated, and various industries and functional departments should be re-integrated, so that the market can play a decisive role and become the starting point for comprehensively deepening reform.
