Applying conditions

(6) Persons over 60 years old and temporarily staying in this city for more than 6 months (inclusive).
(7) Non-local residents who have temporarily lived in this city for 6 months (inclusive) or more can apply to the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of Shanghai Public Security Bureau for the replacement or re-issuance of Taiwan Travel Permit for Mainland Residents. and apply for a similar visa to Taiwan again. If the above-mentioned personnel (except for those with non-local household registration in this city registered in the first item) are registered national staff, they must apply for a certificate to the public security exit and entry management department of their place of residence.
Application materials

Application process
1. Applicants must apply in person. 2. Submit 2 recent full-face color photos (48X33mm, white background) of the applicant that meet the standards for entry and exit documents. Applicants under the age of 16 should be accompanied by a guardian and submit proof of guardianship (such as birth certificate, household register, etc.), as well as the guardian's resident ID card or passport and other identity certificates and copies, and all persons who have guardianship rights over the applicant. 3. Applicants over 16 years old must have their fingerprints collected on the spot. 4. Overseas Chinese and military personnel must apply at the Municipal Exit-Entry Administration Bureau.
