Scenic spots along the way from Nanjing to Shanghai

First stop: Shanghai. If you are interested in the World Expo, you can go and see it, but according to my own experience of visiting the World Expo, I advise you not to go. Queuing and walking take up most of the day, and the World Expo is not as interesting as I thought. You can go to Happy Valley to play, and the City God Temple and the Bund are also good places (both scenic spots are free). Those who like shopping go to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street.

Second stop: Hangzhou. Of course I'm going to the West Lake! The West Lake is free, and the small scenic spots inside are charged.

Third stop: Nanjing. If you have to start from Shanghai, that's the only way. Actually, I suggest starting from Nanjing, passing through Suzhou and Shanghai, and finally arriving in Hangzhou, or vice versa, so that the route may be saved. Speaking of Nanjing, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum is still going. You can spend half a day at Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in the morning, and you must have a student ID card when you go out. Student tickets for Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum are 64 yuan, the Presidential Palace is in the afternoon for half a day, and the student ticket is 20 yuan. In fact, Xuanwu Lake is also very beautiful, but if you have been to the West Lake and then go to Xuanwu Lake, it will be a bit repetitive. Go to the Confucius Temple at night, where it looks better at night than during the day.

By the way, the newly opened Yancheng Spring and Autumn Paradise in Changzhou between Nanjing and Suzhou is a good place. The retro buildings there are very emotional, so you can go and have a look if you have time.

Fourth stop: Suzhou. If you have been to Shanghai Happy Valley, Suzhou Amusement Park can be skipped. Suzhou is one of the best gardens in China. Recommend Humble Administrator's Garden, Netlion Garden and Lingering Garden.
