Guannan Erlang Temple is located in Wulongkou, Guannan County, Jiangsu Province. Wulongkou is the ancient and contemporary name of Wuzhang River. Tracing back to its origin, Wulongkou originally refers to the confluence of five rivers in Guannan: Guanhe River, Yanhe River, Nanliutang River, Beiliutang River, and Liji River. It is located about 500 meters west of the current Wuzhang River Gate. Over time, Wulongkou evolved into a regional name, not only the ancient name and generational name of Wuzhang River, but also the geographical name including Wuzhang River and its surrounding areas. Now Guannan County has planned and established the Wulongkou Ecological Reserve here, covering the two towns of Xin'an Town and Liji Township, and is gradually developing and utilizing it, striving to build it into a scenic spot integrating tourism, sightseeing, food, and commerce.
