Shenyang Puppet Manchu Palace was formerly the official office of Jiheique Transportation Bureau, which managed the salt affairs in Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces during the Republic of China. 1On March 9, 932, with the support of the Japanese invaders, Puyi became the "ruling country of Manchukuo"; On April 3rd, Puyi moved here and became the "Manchukuo Government".

On September 18, 2006, the exhibition "Don't forget September 18th-Historical Facts of Japanese Aggression against Northeast China" was officially exhibited in the Northeast Occupation History Exhibition Hall.
