Article 36 (Supervision and Inspection)

Departments of tourism, public security, industry and commerce, development and reform, quality and technical supervision, planning, land and resources, commerce, health, environmental protection, price and other departments shall, according to the Supervise and inspect the hotel according to their respective responsibilities.

Under the following circumstances, the municipal and district (county) tourism management departments may work with relevant departments to conduct joint key inspections of hotels:

(1) During important festivals and large public holidays ** activities;

(3) The hotel has been punished multiple times by relevant departments or reported and complained by passengers multiple times of.

Article 37 (Information Notification)

The tourism, public security, industry and commerce, development and reform, quality and technical supervision, planning, land and resources, commerce, health, environmental protection, price and other departments shall Inform each other of hotel-related administrative licensing and supervision and inspection information in a timely manner.

Article 38 (Recording and Publication of Illegal Acts)

Municipal and district (county) tourism management departments should summarize the cases of illegal acts and administrative penalties in hotels , create records.

If a hotel’s illegal behavior involves public interests, the relevant departments may announce the relevant illegal behavior and its handling to the public in accordance with the law.

Article 39 (Handling of Reports and Complaints)

If tourists discover that a hotel has committed any illegal act or have a dispute with the hotel, they may report it to the municipal and district (county) tourism management department or the hotel. Reports and complaints to other relevant departments.

If the municipal or district (county) tourism management department receives reports or complaints from passengers that fall within the scope of the department’s responsibilities, it shall promptly handle them in accordance with the law and inform the passengers of the results; if they do not fall within the scope of the department’s responsibilities, Reports and complaints should be transferred to relevant departments for processing within 5 working days from the date of receipt, and passengers should be notified.

Article 40 (Administrative Penalty)

If a hotel violates the relevant provisions of these Measures and commits any of the following acts, the municipal or district (county) tourism management department shall order it to make corrections within a time limit ; If corrections are not made within the time limit, a fine of not less than 1,000 yuan but not more than 10,000 yuan will be imposed:

(1) Failure to submit information such as guest room size, occupancy rate, room rates, etc. to the district (county) tourism management department in accordance with regulations

(2) Failure to clearly indicate room types, accommodation time settlement methods and other service items in accordance with regulations;

(3) Failure to formulate, publicize or place hotel service specifications in accordance with regulations , and submitted for filing.

Other behaviors that violate these Measures will be punished in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and rules.

Article 41 (Legal Responsibilities of Staff)

Staff of municipal or district (county) tourism management and other departments abuse their power, neglect their duties, practice favoritism or fail to comply with these regulations. Those who perform their duties as stipulated in the Measures will be given administrative sanctions in accordance with the law; if a crime is constituted, criminal liability will be pursued in accordance with the law.
