ChinaMaritimeMuseum, the full name of which is "maritime museum, China, Shanghai", is the first national maritime museum approved by the State Council, which was jointly built by the Ministry of Transport and the Shanghai Municipal Government in Shanghai. The museum is located in Nanhui New Town, Pudong New Area, with an area of 24,830 square meters and a total construction area of 46,434 square meters. The foundation stone was laid on June 20, 2006, and it was fully completed and opened to the outside world on July 5, 2000. The building area of the museum is 46,434 square meters, and the indoor exhibition area is 2 1 1,000 square meters. With the theme of "navigation" and "natural history", the museum is divided into six exhibition halls: navigation history, ships, navigation and ports, maritime affairs and maritime safety, seafarers and military navigation, and two special exhibition areas: fishing boats and fishing, marine sports and leisure. Museum of Maritime History

Maritime History Museum is the key exhibition hall of China Maritime Museum.

Based on time, the museum is divided into three exhibition areas: ancient, modern and modern. Shipbuilding and navigation technologies such as buoyancy crossing the river, canoe, wooden boat, sail, paddle, rudder and compass will develop synchronously with the main line of time, so that the audience can have a deeper understanding of the invention and evolution of China's navigation technology. -

When displaying the ship structure, a 1:6 high simulation profile model of a 10,000-ton large cargo ship is made, which is about 25 meters long and runs through two floors of exhibition space.

Museum of Maritime Affairs and Maritime Safety

The Maritime and Maritime Safety Pavilion consists of two independent exhibition areas: Maritime and Maritime Safety.

Maritime museum shows maritime evolution and maritime supervision and law enforcement through physical objects and auxiliary pictures and texts. The Maritime Safety Museum displays topics such as maritime rescue, maritime rescue and anti-piracy through physical objects, models, multimedia and electronic maps.

Seamen's hall

The Seamen's Hall mainly displays objects and documents closely related to seafarers' work and life. The navigation simulator located in the center of the exhibition hall takes the cab of a large container ship as the prototype of the simulator, which vividly shows the characteristics of modern ship driving and enables the audience to experience the feeling of being a captain once by actively manipulating the ship.

Military navigation hall

The military navigation hall is divided into two parts: the construction of the Chinese people's navy and the knowledge of warships.
