The main responsibilities of Guilin Tourism Bureau:

(five) responsible for the preparation of the city's tourism promotion program; To formulate the market development strategies for domestic tourism, inbound tourism and outbound tourism in this Municipality and organize their implementation; Organize the city's tourism image publicity and important tourism promotion activities. Organize, guide and coordinate the city's tourism exhibitions and festivals, and undertake major tourism festivals in the city. Take the lead in organizing the development of tourist routes and special trains, and participate in coordinating tourist traffic. Manage foreign-related tourism affairs, and assist foreigners to send letters and telegrams on visa notification to China. Responsible for foreign exchange and cooperation in tourism; Responsible for collecting, researching and publishing dynamic information of domestic and foreign tourism markets.

(six) responsible for the supervision and inspection of the city's tourism market order and service quality; Standardize the operation and service behavior of tourism enterprises and tourism professionals; Safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of tourism consumers and tourism operators according to law, and accept tourism complaints. Responsible for reviewing and reporting travel agencies operating overseas tourism business and travel agencies operating domestic tourism business and inbound tourism business. To guide the work of the star rating committee of tourist hotels; Standardize the management of tourism environment, standardize the tourism management and service activities of scenic spots (spots), and guide the work of the A-level scenic spot evaluation committee.
