Passengers can fly to Beijing first, and then transfer to long-distance buses or trains from Beijing to Weichang County. Passengers departing from Chengde City can take a long-distance bus to Weichang County at Coach West Station.

July to October is the best. The climate is cool in summer, making it an excellent summer resort; looking around, the forests and grasslands are full of green, dotted with wild flowers, which is beautiful.
