Marseille, the second largest city in France, is the capital of Provence. It takes about 3 hours by high-speed train from Paris. When you arrive in Marseille, don't miss the delicious Marseille fish soup. You will find that the raw material of Marseille fish soup is "buy whatever is available in the port fresh fish market". At first glance, "willful" raw materials seem to be out of place with exquisite French cuisine. In fact, this is precisely to preserve the tradition of Marseille fish soup. It is said that in ancient times, local fishermen returned from the sea and gathered in the fish market in Marseille Port to sell fresh seafood. Those leftover fish will be taken home by fishermen and cooked in a delicious fish soup to share with their families. Later, it gradually evolved into a local specialty-Marseille fish soup. When the sun sets, you can sit in the harbor lined with ships and drink a bowl of Marseille fish soup, which is quite artistic. You can also go to Le Péron restaurant, blow the sea breeze, overlook the island of Yves and taste Marseille fish soup.

Nice has a 7.5-kilometer-long Mediterranean coastline, and the "English Walking Avenue" along the coast of expressway is dotted with flowers all year round, with private beaches on one side and high-end hotels and restaurants on the other. The old town of Nice preserves the old buildings from18th century, and the colorful walls, shutters and baroque churches add a little mystery in the bright sunshine of the blue coast. The Nice Carnival in February every year is one of the biggest festivals in the C? te d 'Azur, with the climax of giant themed dolls taking to the streets, float parades and street art performances. The famous local food is delicious salad. Although there are various creative versions, the classic version is a mixture of all kinds of fresh vegetables poured with olive oil and decorated with boiled eggs and anchovy meat. Another good stew is also very characteristic of southern France. It is made of persimmon pepper, zucchini, eggplant, tomato and onion, and cooked with special sauce.

Menton, the hometown of lemons, is also called "Garden Balcony on the Mediterranean". The special climate and soil make the lemons grown here the first choice for French cuisine. Every February, the Nice Carnival is followed by the Menton Lemon Festival. Don't miss Mirazur restaurant, which was rated as a Michelin three-star restaurant in 20 19. Besides the beautiful lavender, Provence also has interesting traditional markets, such as Provence Market in the ancient town of Zhu An, Lei Bin, where you can find Provence vanilla sticks, which are a collection of traditional spices from the Mediterranean and Provence. For example, local people such as thyme, rosemary, basil and laurel often buy a stick to hang in the kitchen for cooking.
