Want to know about the development of folk tourism abroad!

The research fields of tourism sociology abroad mainly include four aspects: tourists, the relationship between tourists and local people, the structure and function of tourism system, and the influence of tourism [16]. Among them, the influence of tourism is the most and fully studied field in tourism sociology so far, and most of the research focuses on the influence of the host community or society. Li jianxin (1999) summarized the social and cultural impact of tourism into ten themes: community chaos, the essence of interpersonal relationship, the foundation of social organization, the rhythm of social life, immigration, division of labor, stratification, power distribution, abnormal behavior, customs and handicrafts.

Xiao Honggen, an expatriate scholar, made a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the research progress of foreign tourism sociology. On the basis of discussing the research object, scope and methods of tourism sociology, he put the social and cultural influence of tourism on the reception area into the macro-tourism sociology category with tourism groups as the main body. In his article "A Preliminary Study of Tourism Sociology", he pointed out that the social and cultural influence of tourism is the focus of tourism sociology research, and the social and cultural influence of tourists on the reception area includes the following aspects: ① lifestyle, ② employment mode, ③ social structure, ④ neocolonialism, and ⑤ value standard and morality [17]. In another comprehensive article, Xiao Honggen (200 1) introduced the theoretical research of foreign tourism sociology in detail, and made a comprehensive comment on the main foreign schools of thought, theoretical viewpoints, academic works and representative figures. Among them, the theoretical schools of conflict criticism, formalism, phenomenology and ethnography (formalism, phenomenology and ethnography), symbolic interactionism and so on are to study the social and cultural impact of tourism on the receiving area. The introduction of these theories has undoubtedly played an important role in promoting the research of China tourism in this field.
