On the first afternoon or evening, fly from Kunming to Banna (fare 520 yuan/Zhang, no discount, Boeing 737). It takes about 50 minutes to fly in the air, and you will arrive at Jinghong, the state capital of Banna. Take the shuttle bus from the airport to Jinghong. There are also many ordinary sleeping cars from Kunming to Jinghong, and the fare is about 120 yuan. It takes 20 hours to travel day and night. It's a long way to go in Xiu Yuan, but the journey is fortunate. Banna has a hot and humid climate, so you should choose a hotel with better conditions, preferably a hotel with air-conditioned hot water. The price is 150-200 yuan/room.

The next day, take the shuttle bus (fare 10-20 yuan) to Menglun Tropical Botanical Garden. On the way, you can taste fresh and delicious tropical fruits and see patches of Dai villages. Tickets for Menglun Botanical Garden 35 yuan, with many plants and a large area. If you don't want to get lost, you'd better ask A Dai "Sao Li Duo" (meaning girl) to be a tour guide at the gate, at 40 yuan's expense. There are many scenic spots in the botanical garden, so it is necessary to prepare enough films. The stall at the door is selling seedlings and seeds of various tropical plants. If you are interested, you can buy some as a souvenir. After returning to Jinghong City, you can taste authentic Dai snacks, such as citronella grilled fish, bamboo rice and Mi Nan, with unique flavor.

On the third day, I took a one-day trip to China and Myanmar. The scenic spots were: the octagonal pavilion in Jingzhen, the boundary pillar between China and Myanmar, the sleeping Buddha, the peace tower, the anti-drug museum, the market in Mengla, Myanmar, and the single-tree forest. Note: Because of the long route, many scenic spots and many exits, it is difficult for individuals to travel by themselves. It is recommended to participate in the "One-Day Tour of China and Myanmar" organized by local travel agencies, and the price is about/person in 200 yuan (including tour guide service, bus fare, meals, tickets, leaving the country and other expenses). You must sign a formal travel contract when you join the group.

On the fourth day, I rented a car in the city to go to Wild Elephant Valley Forest Park, and the price was about 50-80 yuan. Wild Elephant Valley attracts many tourists with its unique primeval forest landscape and wild elephants in Asia. Tickets to 25 yuan are available. There are wildlife observation stations, butterfly farms and elephant training performances in the park. You have to pay 30 yuan for cable car sightseeing. In the afternoon, I will return to Jinghong, walk to the ethnic customs park, get tickets to 20 yuan, and attend the enthusiastic Water-splashing Festival in the park, which will be unforgettable. Man Ting Park is located opposite the National Customs Park. If you are interested, you can visit the park. Tickets 10 yuan. Return to Kunming by plane in the evening.

Special note: Xishuangbanna has a hot climate, and the best tourist season is February-June and10-February every year. Banna is a border area.
