Silk Road is a comprehensive cultural monthly magazine, which was founded in September during the first China Silk Road Festival, 1992, and is publicly distributed at home and abroad.

The magazine aims to promote the excellent culture of the Silk Road and show the elegance of the western development. In order to adapt to the western development and China's entry into WTO, the English version of Silk Road is being prepared.

Silk Road magazine 1992 was founded in Jincheng, Lanzhou, an important city of the Silk Road, during the first China Silk Road Festival in September. It has been publicly issued at home and abroad since 1993.

Silk Road is jointly sponsored by Gansu Silk Road Association, Gansu Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, Gansu Provincial Tourism Bureau and Northwest Normal University, with Professor Ji Chengjia as editor-in-chief and president.
