Xiamen Travel Guide Free Travel Guide Xiamen Gulangyu Travel Guide 2022
I. Weather 1. The best time to come to Xiamen: there is no best time. It's wonderful to come to Xiamen at any time. 165438+1October-February, with the least number of people; From March to June, the temperature is just right, but it may often rain in Mao Mao; July-August is the time when people are most likely to encounter typhoons, but they can swim in the sea; September-10 is the best time, but there may be more people during the golden week and the air tickets are more expensive. If I have to say a time, I will tell you an inappropriate time: don't come on holidays, there are so many people.
2. Xiamen is not cold in winter. Local residents don't need heating (including air conditioning), but many hotels provide air conditioning. Even if there is no air conditioning, there is heating equipment. Remember to ask when booking.
Second, the flow 1. You can choose a variety of ways to come to Xiamen, such as plane, train, car and self-driving, depending on your convenience.
If you arrive at the airport by plane, I suggest you get a free hand-drawn map of Xiamen at the airport. Very cute and practical, with both reference value and collection value.
Xiamen is a small city. It only takes about 45 yuan to take a taxi from the airport to the ferry. Pay attention to prevent taxis from detouring. Recently, Xiamen's reputation was ruined by these taxis. Let me tell you a few tips to prevent cheating: 1) Don't tell your destination before you get on the bus, tell me after you get on the bus, and don't get off without driving. 2) Ask for an invoice, and don't pay without it. 3) There are no drivers who don't know the way, only drivers who want to make a detour. 4) Seafood restaurant recommended by taxi driver, absolutely! Yes! Don't! Sure! Let's go
4. In the case of go on road trip, the car will stop in the underground garage of the ferry, 4 yuan every hour, but 30 yuan will be capped one day.
There are two railway stations in Xiamen, one is Xiamen Station and the other is Xiamen North Station. Xiamen station is on the island, and Xiamen North Station is in Jimei. If you take a bus to Xiamen North Station, you can take BRT to downtown. You don't need to take a taxi. It is very expensive.
6. Cycling is the best way to visit the island. Motor vehicles, scooters, electric bicycles, etc. It is forbidden to drive in Gulangyu. If you have special needs, you must apply for traffic signs in scenic spots. If you want to ride a bike on Xiamen Island, you can consider renting a bike in Xiamen University and Hu Lishan, where it is the cheapest. Xiamen University is very big, so you can rent a bicycle to go in.
7. BRT in Xiamen is called Airbus, and there is a viaduct dedicated to BRT. You can enjoy the street view of Xiamen city during off-peak hours.
3. Shopping 1, Zhongshan Road is a very busy road. This century-old street is the only commercial street in Xiamen that leads directly to the sea. You can also enjoy the scenery of Gulangyu after visiting it. Several streets adjacent to Zhongshan Road, such as Siming South Road, Siming North Road, Siming West Road, Siming East Road, Jukou Street, etc., are also good places for shopping, so you can stop by and visit.
There are many specialty shops on Zhongshan Road, so consumption is not recommended. Original sound: 1. Expensive; 2. It's tiring to buy big bags and small bags of specialty products when traveling!
3. If you want to buy special products, recommend a website: Hand Gift Network. Everything is complete, basically there are old brands in Xiamen. The price is very cheap, even 20% cheaper than the supermarkets in the city, not to mention the scenic spots.
4. Need to be alert to Gulangyu's consumption trap: ① Wild guides lead the way, generally asking for 10 yuan a day, but they will take you to a black shop, and not buying things may threaten you; It is best to wander around the island without any guide. The seafood shops on Gulangyu Island have a long history of slaughtering customers. Although not as exaggerated as Sanya, it is also quite cruel. Eating seafood in Gulangyu Island is not recommended. Let's go to KFC and McDonald's to solve it. (3) Don't buy a watch. The cigarettes and alcohol in Taiwan Province Province are all fakes.
5. If you want to buy Taiwan Province kaoliang liquor, you can recommend the following two methods: ① Go to Da 'an Island to buy it, where there is a duty-free commodity market in Taiwan Province Province, but you should also be wary of fakes. (2) You can buy it in Handili. Com, state-owned enterprises. The importation of Taiwan Province kaoliang liquor is a formal procedure, so everything is 100% genuine and cheap.
6. Xiamen specialties include: lacquer line carving, dried seafood, pies, Xiamen bead embroidery, tea, Huang Shengji bacon, Jinmen tribute sugar, fish skin peanuts, Bodhi pills, olives, peanut crisp and so on.
4. Accommodation 1. Accommodation can be considered as B&B, concentrated in Gulangyu, Nanhua Road, Huaxin Road, Baijia Village, Zengcuo _, Huangcuo. There are more than 1000 homestays in Xiamen, which are mixed, so you should choose carefully.
If the budget is limited, you can choose to live in the city. The price of Gulangyu Island is basically twice that of the urban area. Living in the city for 7 days is a good choice at home.
3. If you live in a hotel in the city, Nanhua Road, Huaxin Road, Baijia Village, Zengcuo _ and Huangcuo are all good. The prices of Nanhua Road, Huaxin Road and Baijiacun will be higher. 180-300. Tang Le Garden Hotel near Xiamen University and Shanshe Coffee Hotel in Baijia Village are recommended.
If you want to live comfortably, it is recommended to stay in an apartment hotel. Usually high-end single apartments. The room is very big, with a big bed. Independent bathrooms can also cook for themselves. It's almost like home. There are many online, you can look for them.
5. Hotels around Huandao Road, Zengcuo _ and Huangcuo are generally in poor conditions, and the price is generally at 100-200, which may be more expensive in peak hours. Recommend the coffee hotel under the banyan tree in Huangcuo and the gala hotel around the island in Tatou (next door to Zengcuo).
6. If you choose to live in Gulangyu, there are many choices. There are many family hotels in Gulangyu. The recommended types of old villa include Xilinge Hotel and Happy Sky Hotel. Seascape Hotel: Laoyangfang Hotel is recommended for the rich, Wanshui Qian Shan Hotel can be considered for those who like mountain climbing, Penghu Bay for grandma with high cost performance, and Nana can be considered for those near the pier. Nana is very nice, the room is very petty, European style, and it has a small fresh taste of Gulangyu. If you want to experience the feeling of living in Gulangyu, I recommend Nana.
7. At present, there are many hotels on Gulangyu Island, but it is more secure to try to find certified hotels.
5. Food 1. Snacks that you must try when you come to Xiamen are: roasted meat dumplings, bowls, fried coriander, fish ball soup, fried oysters, frozen bamboo shoots, satay noodles, fairy grass, peanut soup and Xiamen pie.
2. Recommended barbecued pork bun 1980, Awan, Taiwan Province Province is adding barbecued pork bun; Bowl boy _ recommend Wu snack bar; Fried spiced dishes are recommended to be flavored and snack bars; Fish balls soup recommends Yongfeng fish balls; Fried jellyfish recommended lotus ring jellyfish fried; Soil bamboo shoots frozen recommended Simon soil bamboo shoots frozen; Satay noodles recommend Li Si Satay noodles, Yuehua Satay noodles and Dazhong Satay noodles; Xiancao recommends Babo Xiancao and Fu Bo Xiancao; Huang Ze and peanut soup are recommended for peanut soup; Xiamen School recommended Ji Wang, Huang Zehe and Ajizai.
3. Snacks in scenic spots can be eaten at will. The so-called century-old shop may have been open for less than two years. Don't expect too much, so the disappointment will not be too great.
It is inevitable to eat seafood when you come to Xiamen. Tourists generally like to go to small glasses, but there are actually many good choices. Yajian food stall near Xiamen University, 14 1 food stall near the ferry, and the cool breeze of Hexiang West Road are all good choices. If you want to eat better seafood, you can consider going to Kerry Seafood Restaurant and Shuyou Seafood. In addition, the seafood restaurant recommended by taxi drivers must not go!
5. It is very popular on the Internet, but it is highly recommended by local people: Zhang Sanfeng milk tea, Pan Xiaolian yogurt, original delicious fish balls and so on.
6. There are many food streets in Xiamen, and there are basically all the Xiamen snacks mentioned above. Recommend these food streets: ① Zhongshan Road-Datong Road route: including the eighth market area, Zhongshan Road, Dazhong Road, Datong Road, Siming East, West, North and South Road. ② Other sections: Xiamen University, Baicheng area, Hubin East-West North-South Road, Hexiang East-West Road, Wenzao, Railway Station and Lianhua New Village. (3) Kale Food Plaza of World Trade Center: The first floor is Wal-Mart, and the first to fourth floors are the basic layout of shopping malls. The food court on the fifth floor is a collection of food from all over the world. ④SM City Square Food City: It brings together delicious food from all over the country, and you can eat a full range of snacks.
Six, play 1, Xiamen will generally go to the scenic spots are:

② Nanputuo: You don't need tickets, you can get a incense for free.
(3) Hu Lishan fort need tickets. Near Fort Hu Lishan is Baicheng Beach, so you can stop and play.
④ Xiamen University. There is no need for tickets, but Xiamen University has recently started to restrict guests. The campus of Xiamen University has been open to tourists since February 27th last year. It is open to tourists twice a day from Monday to Friday, namely 12: 00- 14: 00 and 17:00, and visitors are not accepted at other times. There are two open school gates, Qunxian Gate (West Gate) and South Gate (South Putuo). In addition, the noon time is limited to 1 1,000 people (300 in Qunxian and 700 in Nanmen), and the number of people in the evening time is unlimited. Visitors and tourists will brush their second-generation ID cards to enter the school.

No.8 Huandao Road, Xiamen. You don't need tickets, the scenery is very good, and you can go shopping by bike, which is very good!
Pet-name ruby had _. Zengcuo _ is a small fishing village with diverse cultures. There are many lovely shops in it, you can go shopping.
2. In addition to scenic spots, you can also consider Jimei, Garden Expo Park, Riyuegu Hot Springs and Tulou when you come to Xiamen. Tickets for Tulou can be purchased on the website of Xiamen Individual Travel Service Center.
3. The best place to watch the sunrise in Gulangyu Island is not Sunlight Rock, but Moonlight Rock above Bishan Park. Moonlight Rock does not need tickets, and it is the second tallest on the island.
4. The best place to swim is the moon slope around the island road, but you should pay attention to safety when swimming in the sea!
5. I can't see Taiwan Province Province in Xiamen. The nearest place to Xiamen is Jinmen Island under the jurisdiction of Taiwan Province Province. It's only an hour's flight from Xiamen to Kinmen, but you need to join a group.
6. After 8 pm, you can consider going to these places: ① Xidi, next to the municipal government, where there are many cafes. Next to Dangdang Lake, you can enjoy the night view of Xiamen and visit the street of Binglang Road Bar. ② You can visit Zhongshan Road, which is very lively at night. Pizza Hut on the top floor of Zhongshan Road is said to be the best place to see Gulangyu Island at night in Xiamen. If it is summer, you can also go to Huandao Road. ④ Bailuzhou City Park: Music fountain at 8: 00 pm, cultural square activities every weekend, with professional bands or song and dance performances.
7. Others 1, Xiamen is very small, so you don't need to join a tour group, and self-help tour is the most comfortable.
2. Items to be carried: ① drugs commonly used by people and drugs for treating diarrhea; (2) Sanitary ware is a must for travel. (3) certificates and identification. (4) rain gear, Fujian Province is one of the most rainy provinces in China. ⑤ Money, don't prepare too much. Carry more than 50% of the budget in an emergency; I also need to change some coins to use when taking the bus in Xiamen. Umbrella, sunscreen, hat, especially in summer, the sun is very poisonous. 7 slippers, how to play in the sea without slippers?
3. How long is it appropriate to stay in Xiamen? If it's the first time, it takes about three days to stroll around the city and stay at the seaside for one night. On the second day, I visited the island and stayed there. On the third day, I returned to the city. But Xiamen is a lazy place. I don't want to stay a few more days.
You can bring some dry seafood when you come back. In the dry goods street on the other side of Xiaxi Market on Zhongshan Road, it is better to recognize a PIZZAHUT at the intersection. Jinxiang (Huang Shengji) meat floss on Gulangyu Island; Wang Ji School or Gulangyu School (there are N brands, don't make a mistake); Yellow glutinous rice balls; Nanputuo vegetarian cake; Tieguanyin tea; All kinds of shell ornaments (many of them are fake shells). There are also many seafood dry goods to choose from online, and you can also pick up the goods at the airport, which is very convenient!
It is especially difficult to take a taxi at 5-6 pm, because they have to hand over the shift, and the rush hour is congested at that time. Try to avoid that time.
6. Friends who travel light and don't have a computer can download some software used in travel in advance, such as booking air tickets, hotels, specialties, information about various tourist attractions, public transportation, food, weather and so on.
Eight, scenic area strategy 1, Zeng CuO _ play strategy
Zeng CuO _, the most literary fishing village in China, is called "Zeng CuO _ Wenchuang Village" for short. The alias "Zengli", also known as "Zengjiawo" and "Zengjiawan", is located in the southeast of Xiamen Island, where there are grass in Tuerling, stone in Taimu Mountain and reef in volcanic island, and nature and humanity are integrated. It has a history of over 800 years.
In my opinion, I chose to live in Zengcuo _ because I can understand the cultural connotation of southern Fujian well, taste cultural snacks, go out in a lively and safe way, stay in an inn safely and quietly, and listen to the sound of the waves.
The fact after I checked in is that there is nothing wrong, my choice is right! This place is really great. It can really be said that this inn is the best place I have ever stayed. The surrounding environment is beautiful, with beautiful walkways, clean and comfortable rooms, clean sheets and beautiful decorations. It can be said that the quality of this inn is extremely high! Check into the inn first, and then go directly to Zengcuo to play ~
Going out is another world. It's not noisy, but it's not remote. There are many interesting things after coming out.
There are countless small shops here, which are worth visiting, and there are many delicious foods. You can have a rest if you are tired.
Zeng CuO _ This way out is the sea, just across a small overpass! ! Very convenient! ! ! At night, sleep, the air is good, there is no noise, and the bed is comfortable. This is the meaning of travel!
2, Gulangyu play strategy
Gulangyu is a quiet and beautiful island, where there are all kinds of buildings with different styles, Chinese and western walls, and various specialty food shops and shops, which are full of literary atmosphere. This is also a must-see spot for my trip. Here I also make an unreserved contribution to our trip! !

skill
1. Irregular sailing on holidays or under special circumstances. Tel: 0592-2023493.
2. Xiamen Wharf will transfer after purchasing tickets. Please keep these tickets. When returning to Xiamen from Gulangyu Island, put the ticket into the recycling port and make a transfer. This point should be specially reminded to everyone! Get up after a good sleep, wash and get ready to go!
My itinerary is as follows:
Sunlight Rock (1 hour) → Xinzhuang Garden (1 hour) → Hao Yue Garden (1 hour) → Xiamen Underwater World (2 hours) → Institution Museum (1 hour) → Sanyitang (0.5 hours).
Play and eat leisurely on Gulangyu Island! !
Gulangyu cuisine is spread all over the island, mainly in the food street, including Su's deeds, dried meat shops and so on. Every store has free samples, and they are very generous. I am embarrassed not to buy them every time I pass by. Snacks include fried oysters, shrimp eggs, satay noodles, fish balls and so on.
Satay noodle: I bought it at Shaozi Yagongwan store, and I like it very much. There is a lot of seafood in it, which is still very valuable.
I'm a little tired after dinner. Go back to the inn and have a good rest!
3. Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple
It takes about 20 minutes to get to Xiamen University by bus No.2 and No.29 or taxi from the inn. How can you come to Xiamen without visiting Xiamen University? Visit the campus, see Furong Lake, and see Furong Tunnel. There are all kinds of graffiti by students in the tunnel, which is very literary.
From the south gate of Xiamen University is Nanputuo Temple. Go to the temple to appreciate the style of ancient buildings, feel the smell of sandalwood in the air, and walk around, as if crossing into ancient times. You can also experience the style of old buildings and feel the beauty at that time.
4. Zhongshan Road
Go to Zhongshan Road, Xiamen, a famous commercial street in the evening;
Zhongshan Road is the oldest commercial street in Xiamen, with many people, many commodities and great fame. No matter in the past or now, when people talk about Xiamen, they always say Zhongshan Road, just like Manhattan in new york, Ginza in Tokyo and Central in Hong Kong. To Xiamen, Zhongshan Road is a must, because it represents Xiamen's prosperity, affluence and the rhythm of the times. Here you can enjoy the rich material world and appreciate the modern style. Let's start with a gourmet shop: Huang Ze and Peanut Soup on Zhongshan Road. There are many kinds of snacks here.
5. Jimei Xue Cun
The biggest feature of Jimei Xue Cun lies in its unique Jiageng architectural style, which combines the western style. Xue Cun is located in Jimei Peninsula and was founded by Mr. Chen Jiageng on 19 13. As the name implies, Xue Cun is a "fishing village" composed of several educational institutions. In addition to school teaching buildings and dormitory buildings, there are facilities such as Funan Great Hall, library, gymnasium, concert hall, Dragon Boat Pond and navigation club. It is characterized by the gathering of many overseas Chinese-style buildings around the school, and Longzhouchi, the southernmost part of Xue Cun, has also become a place that combines seascape and humanistic scenery.
From the island to Jimei Xue Cun, you can get off at No.87 Botanical Garden Station from the inn and transfer to the subway. We're almost there!
