On the way to the Yellow Crane Tower, I came across an "abandoned" ancient building. After a careful look, I found it very useful.

When traveling in Wuhan, the Yellow Crane Tower is a must. Small fishing is naturally unavoidable. Because the place where I live is not far from the Yellow Crane Tower, Xiaoyu decided to walk. I didn't expect to come across an "abandoned" ancient building in the free park. It is quite useful to take a closer look.

The thing is, Xiaoyu only needs to walk through shouyi park at the foot of Snake Mountain from the hotel, and it takes about 20 minutes to reach the east gate of Yellow Crane Tower Scenic Area (Yellow Crane Tower Scenic Area and shouyi park are next to it). Shouyi park is the earliest park in Wuhan with a long history. There are many memorial buildings related to the Revolution of 1911, and the environment is beautiful. Now it is also a free park. Xiaoyu's walking and strolling are also very pleasant.

Walking, Xiaoyu suddenly saw a conspicuous white building at the foot of Snake Mountain. Far away, he saw a seal on it, which was already in a "deserted" state. Walking in, I found that it was the former site of Hubei Provincial Library.

This Hubei Provincial Library, founded in 1904 and founded by Zhang Zhidong, is one of the earliest specialized libraries in China. The original library is not in this place now, 1934 moved here. As a result, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression broke out soon after the library was built, and Wuhan became the wartime capital and the office of the Military Commission of the National Government. 1946 was reused as a library, and a new library was built on 20 12, which was "idle" for protection.

Today, the former site of the library is also a national key cultural relics protection unit. Knowing the historical origin behind it can be said to be quite big!

Xiaoyu can't visit because she is blocked, but from the appearance, the building is quite magnificent. The whole building is a combination of Chinese and western, and the main building is an antique Chinese hall with cornices. At the same time, it has many western architectural features, such as exquisite relief and so on, which is quite fashionable.

In fact, from the old library to the east, there are two former residences of celebrities: Li Shucheng's former residence and Gao's former residence. But Xiaoyu didn't do a good job in advance and was in a hurry to go to the Yellow Crane Tower, so he missed it. There are so many scenic spots in Wuhan that there is a feeling that there are treasures everywhere. If you come to visit, you can look for them one by one.

For foreign tourists, if you visit the Yellow Crane Tower, you can come out from the east gate of the scenic spot and walk east along Wu Luo Road, which is shouyi park. The former site of Hubei Provincial Library stands quietly among them, waiting for the encounter of the next visitor.
