If you are taking a one-day trip to Wuhan, the first thing to check is which train station you get off at.

I will arrange for you to get off at Wuchang Station. There is actually no need to join a group tour for a one-day tour of Wuhan.

The first day:

Wuchang Railway Station - Yuemachang, go to Shouyiyuan Snack Street for breakfast, then go to Guiyuan Temple in Hanyang (ticket 10 yuan); or go directly to Wuchang Railway Station, Take bus 402 and get off at Jianghan Station. In the morning, go shopping on Jianghan Road in Hankou. In the morning, go shopping in the modern buildings of Hankou. In the evening, take the ferry to Wuchang Pedestrian Hubu Lane Snack Street (about 10 minutes) and Hanyangmen Bus Station. Then take the bus to Yuemachang for accommodation.

Climb the Yellow Crane Tower (80 yuan) in the morning for 2-3 hours, then come down for 30 minutes to the Revolution of 1911 Museum (free). One stop to the east is the only Taoist temple in Wuhan. Changchun Temple (10 yuan) can be reached on foot. In the afternoon, go to the Hubei Provincial Museum (2-3 hours) (closed on Mondays). There are 3,500 tickets in the morning and 1,500 tickets in the afternoon. No admission after 16:00 in the afternoon, free of charge. If it is in the afternoon on a holiday, it is recommended to queue up early.

There are a lot of buses on this itinerary. Just ask passers-by and you will find that the bus stop’s name is Hubei Provincial Museum.

You can take the bus from Shengbo to Wuchang Railway Station or take a taxi.

Accommodation

There are fast and economical hotels nearby in the itinerary I recommend, which involves many questions. My answer is that I never recommend hotels. If you need to make a reservation, just go to a well-known website to make a reservation. Economy rooms cost between RMB 50 and RMB 80 with air conditioning.

The fast type is between 80-130 yuan.

Wuhan’s buses to and from urban attractions are very convenient. You can swipe cards and insert coins, so please bring your own change.

Warm reminder: Before getting on the bus, ask passers-by. When getting on the bus, ask the driver if the bus is going to where you are going. Avoid sitting in the wrong car or riding in the opposite direction. For more questions, please ask.
