What should you pay attention to if you want to travel to Thailand?
First apply for a passport, take your household registration book, ID card and money to the exit and entry management hall of the police station where your household registration is located. It will take about a month for the passport to be issued. It used to be 3 months but now it is within 20 working days. However, I would like to remind you that if your home is at the county level, you may need to go to the municipal level to apply. This varies from place to place.
The most suitable time to travel is from August to December, because in order to attract more Chinese tourists, the Thai government will specially provide travel services for incoming Chinese tourists from August to December. A visa-free preferential policy is implemented for tourists, which can save you a tourist visa fee of 2,000 baht (approximately 300 yuan) when traveling abroad. After this period, there will be no such visa-free preferential policy for entry.
Visa. You can get a visa on arrival in Thailand. There are many agencies online. The all-purpose Xubao costs 230 yuan/person. You only need to send the original passport and a 2-inch photo. You will receive it in 7 working days and the visa will be issued by itself. It is valid for 90 days from the date of entry and can stay in Thailand for 60 days.
Entry and Exit. The documents required for entry into Thailand are passport, customs declaration form, entry and exit card (the main copy is collected when entering, and the second copy is collected when leaving the country), customs declaration form (for specific operations, you can ask the staff at the processing office, and tell them here to avoid bringing the wrong ones) . No matter which channel you take, you need to return a completed customs declaration form. Passengers may sometimes be asked to pass their luggage through an X-ray inspection machine or open their luggage for inspection.
Most people in Thailand believe in Buddhism, so they must respect their religious beliefs. When meeting monks on the road, girls should keep a distance and not touch them; when going to temples, they should enter barefoot and wear clothes Wear long clothes and skirts, but it doesn’t matter if you don’t bring them. Generally, there will be clothes rental shops at the entrance of the temple, and some of them are free.
Traffic safety instructions. First, Thailand drives on the left side. You must give way to pedestrians at zebra crossings and be sure not to drive the wrong way. Second, motorcycles in Thailand are very fast, so be careful when crossing the road. Third, you cannot drive, including motorcycles, without an international driver's license, otherwise you will be fined. Fourth, to take a taxi, it is better to use Grab instead of Uber. When stopping a taxi on the spot, say "by meter" and take a photo of the driver and vehicle information to facilitate rights protection. Fifth, download Google Maps and plan the route in advance to avoid getting lost and increasing safety risks.
Phone card. Purchase a Happy card in advance on a certain website, and you will have unlimited traffic for 7 days, allowing you to surf the Internet and make phone calls. I went there for 10 days this time, so I bought two cards, and I changed them to one on the 7th day. It can be purchased and recharged at local 7-11 convenience stores, telecom business halls and even airports.
