Travel to Xinjiang (Travel Notes)

In the National Day holiday of 2018, plus the annual leave, I invited more than ten movie friends to go with me without any excuse. Just so willfully, I drove from southern Xinjiang through northern Xinjiang to the China-Kazakhstan border and then from northern Xinjiang over the Tianshan Mountains to southern Xinjiang, driving a circuitous 15,000 kilometers.

September in Xinjiang is full of fragrant fruits, pleasant climate, and golden gardens. It is the best season for photographers to travel to Xinjiang. In order to take pictures of the beautiful scenery of Xinjiang, we always go out early and come back late.

Get up at 6:30 in the morning (because the time difference between Xinjiang and us is about two hours), which is equivalent to 4:30 for us. Sometimes, in order to take pictures of the sunrise, we drive to the scenic spot before it gets bright.

Mo Daojun left early, and there were even more early travelers. Photographers with long guns and cannons gathered from all over the country. They were already fighting against the biting cold wind. Although I was wearing Even though I was wearing cotton clothes, my hands and feet were still trembling with cold as I stood on the hillside at temperatures of several degrees below zero, but my heart was full of joy and I was always full of hope that I could capture a photo that was worthy of me.

The nouns I have sung in songs and read in books since I was a child all appeared in front of my eyes one by one, "Turpan, Tianshan, Silk Road, Tarim Basin", especially passing through the Lop Nur area reminded us of the scientist Peng Jiamu. .

Walking in the Taklimakan Desert, which means "a place where you can't get in" in Uyghur, people usually call it the "Sea of ??Death". It is located in the center of the Tarim Basin in southern Xinjiang, covering an area of ??324,000 square kilometers. It is the largest desert in China and the second largest mobile desert in the world. We have not experienced the feeling of conquering the "Sea of ??Death", but in Xinjiang and Qinghai The junction was baptized by a sandstorm with a wind speed of 16 meters per second for more than three hours. Our car was swaying and we experienced the power of the sandstorm. The wind and sand were raging, and the front and rear of the car were not visible. There were only flying sand and rocks, which made the sky dark. Some people were worried that the car would be buried in the sandstorm. I was only worried that the wind and sand would overturn the car. God bless us, and finally we broke out of the siege and walked on the road. On the flat road, facing the rising sun, we headed east. I was eager to return home. On the last day, I traveled more than 1,300 kilometers and returned to my homeland after being away for more than 20 days.
