Laitan Ancient Town 1

Laitan Ancient Town is located in Jiufeng Mountain, 32km east of Hechuan, Chongqing. Laitan Ancient Town, founded in Song Dynasty, is the first batch of famous historical and cultural towns in China, one of the top ten ancient towns in China, and the first batch of "the most beautiful villages and towns in China". Surrounded by Qujiang, the ancient town is a beautiful place with ancient temples, ancient cities and ancient buddhas. Surrounded by cliffs on three sides, it has the dangerous potential of "one person defends it and ten thousand people can't force it". Built in the first year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty, the Wengcheng is the only one in Chongqing. There are four hidden soldiers caves in the city, which have the effect of shooting a turtle in a closed door to guard against the enemy.

2. Shuanglong Lake

Shuanglong Lake is an artificial lake built by 1983, and 1984 has become a tourist area, 26 kilometers away from Hechuan. Shuanglong Lake is wide and clear, with a water surface of 6,879 mu and a coastline of more than 80 kilometers. It has four islands, 147 peninsulas and more than 100 Huhan ports, with a maximum water depth of 38 meters and 40 million cubic meters of drinking water for livestock all the year round. There are eight important natural and cultural landscapes in Shuanglong Lake, with picturesque and magnificent reflections in the water. Shuanglong Lake has fresh air and elegant environment.

3. Wenchang Palace

Wenchang Palace, located in the ancient town of Helaitan, was built in the Qing Dynasty, especially the well-preserved Wenchang Palace and the ancient theater in the Qing Dynasty. Woodcut relief has a high historical and cultural value, which is amazing. Stone archways in the Ming Dynasty, stupa forests in the Qing Dynasty, tombs in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and some stone carvings also add charm to this place.

4. Two Buddhist temples

Two Buddhas Temple, formerly known as Jiufeng Temple, is located on the cliff of Jiufeng Mountain in Jiangxi Province, the Laitan Township Canal in Hechuan County. The buildings are surrounded by mountains and waters, with verdant mountains and upturned cornices, looming in the clouds, which is very spectacular. The temple is divided into upper and lower parts. The superstructure includes Linggong, Tianwang Hall, Jade Emperor Hall, Wei Tuo Hall, Ursa Major Hall, Empress Dowager Hall and Guanyin Hall. There are only two Buddhist temples in the small building, both of which are cliff statues.

5. Come to Tamfo

The most famous Buddhist grottoes in the two Buddhist temples are in the same strain as Dazu stone carvings, and the northern grottoes art is not backward. Craftsmen have transferred this skill to Sichuan and Chongqing's works, which not only has the atmosphere of northern grottoes art, but also has the exquisite stone carving art in Sichuan and Chongqing.
