Zhejiang Tourism Vocational College is a public higher tourism college jointly established by the National Tourism Administration and the Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government. It is affiliated to the Zhejiang Provincial Tourism Bureau. In 2006, the college passed the evaluation of the Ministry of Education’s higher vocational college talent training with excellent grades. In 2008, it was rated as a model higher vocational college construction unit in Zhejiang Province. In 2009, it was the first among the national tourism colleges to pass the World Tourism Award. Organizing tourism education quality certification, in 2010 it was identified by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as a key vocational college construction unit in the National Demonstration Vocational College Construction Plan. The college is located on the bank of the Qiantang River. The campus covers an area of ??580 acres and has a total construction area of ??205,000 square meters.
