Tourism in Liaoning: Shenyang explores Zhang Xueliang's former residence in Dashuai House (Figure)

According to relevant data, Dashuai Mansion, located at No.48 Shaoshuaifu Lane, Chaoyang Street, Shenhe District, Shenyang City, was built in 1914-1939. Because Dashuai Mansion is the collective name of "Dashuai Mansion" and "Shaoshuaifu", it is the official residence and apartment of Feng warlord Zhang Zuolin and his son General Zhang Xueliang.

Before liberation, Dashuai Mansion was called the Fengtian Branch of the Central Library, which was actually occupied by the Japanese First Military Command in Fengtian, the Kuomintang Party Department and the reception officials. Most of the buildings in the courtyard were destroyed and overgrown with weeds, and no one cared.

After liberation, Liaoning Provincial Library, Liaoning Literary Federation, Writers Association and other literary and art groups worked here, and Shuaifu became the center of cultural activities. According to the party's policy, the property right of Shuaifu has been owned by General Zhang Xueliang for decades. The user pays the rent according to the regulations, and the real estate department collects and manages it.

For Dashuai Mansion, the people's government has allocated funds for large-scale maintenance for many times, making this complex well preserved. In February 1985, Shenyang Municipal People's Government announced that it was a municipal cultural relics protection unit, and in December 1988, it was listed as a provincial cultural relics protection unit in Liaoning Province.

Dashuai House is a Chinese-western mixed building complex surrounded by a blue brick plain wall, which is more than 3 meters high and has square corners. From the construction time and use, Shuaifu can be divided into two parts, namely, the east and west houses, which are bounded by the existing blue brick walls in the courtyard. The East Courtyard is the early building of Shuaifu, including quadrangles, small brothels, big brothels, Guandi Temple and the former residence of Zhao Yidi (Miss Zhao Si) outside the east wall. The West Courtyard is a later building with 6 brick-concrete buildings.

When you visit the Dashuai Mansion, you will first visit the square in front of the Shuaifu. In the center of the square stands a statue of General Zhang Xueliang. This statue was completed on the 69th anniversary of the Xi 'an Incident in 25. The designer of the sculpture is Mr. Zhang Bingtian, Professor of Sculpture Department of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts.

The total height of the sculpture is 6.94 meters, and the upper part is a statue of General Zhang Xueliang standing in a military uniform, which heightens Zhang Xueliang's figure a little, making him look energetic and upright. The facial expression is a slight frown, with deep eyes looking into the distance and firm lips.

In the sculpture, General Zhang Xueliang stands upright and heroic, with a belt in one hand and gloves hanging down in the other. The statue is 4 meters high, and the lower part is a base with a height of 2.94 meters. The five golden characters of "General Zhang Xueliang" engraved on the pedestal are shining.

Walking into the south gate of Dashuai Mansion, where two stone lions are guarding the door, people see a brick-carved "Shou" shadow wall. Entering from the front door is the first entrance to the courtyard. There are seven concierge rooms in front, the middle is the door, the east is the reception room, the west is the telephone room, and the two sides are the guards' rooms. The east and west wing rooms are the inner accounting room, the big kitchen, the connecting place, the dining room and the electrician room.

The entrance through the instrument gate (hanging flower gate) is the second courtyard, with seven main rooms, and the middle door has been opened. There are five rooms in each wing, which is the place where Zhang Zuolin's eight divisions handle official business. The main room is the bedroom and living room, and the west room is the study and warehouse. The north of the east wing is the receiving and dispatching room, and the south is the secretary-general room. The west wing is a general secretary's office.

The third courtyard is the bedroom of Zhang Zuolin's wife, aunt, young lady and others. In the middle of the main room is the Ancestor Hall to the north, with three doors leading to the East, West and South rooms and the courtyard.

There are five symmetrical rooms in the east and west wing, with the reception room in the east and the office in the west. There are things in the three hospitals, and the door is connected with the outside of the hospital. Now, the rooms in the two courtyards are respectively Exhibition of Achievements of General Zhang Xueliang, a Hero of the Past, and Photo Exhibition of Zhang Zuolin and Zhang Family.

Siheyuan is an early building of Shuaifu. The group building center is located in the central axis. It was built from 1914 to 1918. Sitting facing south, it is rectangular, long from north to south and narrow from east to west. It enters the courtyard, and there are more than 6 houses in the whole hospital.

The main buildings are stone carvings at the corners of stone pillars, the walls are inlaid with embossed stone slabs, the walls are inlaid with brick carvings, the steps in front of the door are hung with ribbons, the plum balustrades are exquisitely carved, and the columns with eaves and purlins and the colorful paintings of doors and windows are unique.

Beyond the east wall of the quadrangle is the East Garden of Shuaifu. Located in the north is the DaQingLou, the Shuaifu center where Zhang Zuolin and Zhang Xueliang lived, received guests and worked. Daqinglou is a three-story Roman blue brick building. It is said that it was designed and built in the style of Cao Jia Garden, the Tianjin residence of Cao Kun, President of Beiyang Warlord Government. Among them, the first floor is a meeting place, which is used to receive Chinese and foreign dignitaries and negotiate military affairs; The second and third floors are places for working and living.

Before entering the Daqing Building, people will see a model A car produced by Ford Company of the United States in the late 192s, which is Fengtian No.1 car in Zhang Zuolin, on the east side of the building. Although it is very old, the car is black and shiny, and it is quite well preserved. It's estimated that with oil, you can still drive smoothly.

After Zhang Zuolin was promoted to the position of northeast frontier supervisor in 1925, he discussed military secrets, made major decisions and received Chinese and foreign dignitaries in Daqing Building. As it was once the political hub of the three northeastern provinces around the beginning of this century, many important decisions and events here are closely linked with the modern history of China, thus making it famous all over the world.

The famous "Tiger Hall" is located in the northeast corner of the first floor. It is named after the display of two tiger specimens sent by Tang Yulin, the commander of Dongfang Road. On January 1th, 1929, Yang Yuting and Chang Yinhuai were executed here by Zhang Xueliang.

There is also a Guandi Temple in Shuaifu, which is located in a small courtyard in the northeast corner of the East Courtyard. It is a private temple with only three feet. There are many beautiful murals and couplets in it.

Daqinglou is a three-story building, facing north and south, with polygonal and brick-concrete structure, European Gothic architecture, blue brick wall, white cement border, and black and white contrast, which is particularly eye-catching and elegant. The downstairs steps are about one meter high, and there is an eight-shaped vertical belt on the south and nine steps on the east.

There are three doors on the front of the first floor, the middle of which is a semicircle with a bright door, and the two sides are semicircle group combination doors. It is the platform on the second floor and the two protruding semi-circular balconies on the third floor. They are all cement plaid, curved decorative triangle pattern, semicircle, bottle fence, colonnade, round stigma and so on. All the offices, living rooms, conference rooms and living rooms in the building are well preserved.

From Daqinglou to the south, you will find the garden rockery in the East Courtyard through a doorway covered with creepers, and then you will find Xiaoqinglou on the east side not far from the south. Xiaoqinglou sits on the second floor facing south. There are five rooms at the top and bottom, with a middle door, a porch on the front eaves and blue bricks and tiles. It is an ancient building in China and one of the early buildings of Shuaifu. In June 1928, Zhang Zuolin returned to Shenyang from Beijing. After being injured near Huanggu District, he died in Xiaoqing's downstairs room.

Going out from the East Gate of Dashuai Mansion is the former residence of Zhao Yidi. Zhao Yidi's former residence, commonly known as "Miss Zhao Si House", is an important part of the Zhang Shuaifu Museum. From 1928 to 1931, General Zhang Xueliang and Ms. Zhao Yidi lived here and gave birth to their beloved son Zhang Lvlin.

The whole small courtyard is quiet and elegant, exquisite and unique. It consists of more than ten rooms, such as hall, dining room, piano room, ballroom, office, bedroom, study and living room.

After careful maintenance and multi-party research, the restored Zhao Yidi's former residence reproduces the real scene of Miss Zhao Si and General Zhang Xueliang living together in those years and tells people their legendary love story.

Other buildings in Dashuai Mansion also have their own characteristics and historical connotations. As far as its architectural style is concerned, there are China traditional style, Chinese and Western wall style, Nordic style, Oriental style and so on. As far as carving art is concerned, there are various art forms such as brick carving, stone carving, wood carving and painting, which can be called a masterpiece of modern architectural art and a rare example of studying architectural technology.
