Please introduce Qinghai Lake.
Qinghai Lake
Qinghai Lake was called "West Sea" in ancient times, also known as "fresh water" or "fresh sea". Tibetan is called "Cuowenbu", which means "blue lagoon"; Mongolian calls it "Kukunod", that is, "Blue Ocean". It is the largest inland lake and the largest saltwater lake in China, more than twice the size of the famous Taihu Lake. The lake is long from east to west, narrow from north to south and slightly oval. At first glance, it looks like a big poplar leaf. At present, Qinghai Lake is 3 196 meters above sea level and covers an area of 4,573 square kilometers. It is about 360 kilometers around the lake, with an average depth of 19 meters and the deepest point of 32.8 meters.
Qinghai Lake is a sacred lake in the eyes of ancient Qiang people. China attached great importance to this lake in past dynasties, and it was listed as one of the "four seas" (east, south, west and north) in the Han Dynasty, which was called the "West Sea". The title of the West Sea began in the Tang Dynasty. During the Tianbao period of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, the West Sea was named Guangrun King. In the Song and Yuan Dynasties, Ren continued to seal the "Four Seas", and the West Sea was called "Shengtong Guangrun King". In the fourth year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty, the "water god" in Qinghai was named "the powerful Qinghai god". After the rebellion of Rob Jindan was put down in the Qing Dynasty, the system of offering sacrifices to "Qinghai God" was established, and offering sacrifices to the sea strengthened the ties between the frontier and the central government. It can be seen that Qinghai Lake has had a great influence on China's politics and culture.
"Qinghai spring geese have no waves, and cattle and sheep are seen in the grass." Qinghai Lake is surrounded by four towering peaks. Looking around, it is like four high natural barriers, tightly surrounding Qinghai Lake. From the foot of the mountain to the lake, there is an endless, flat and boundless grassland, and Qinghai Lake, with its vast smoke and blue waves, is like a huge jade plate embedded between mountains and grasslands, forming a magnificent and beautiful scenery in which mountains, lakes and grasslands set each other off.
The four seasons in Qinghai Lake are very different. In summer and autumn, the mountains and rivers around Qinghai Lake are beautiful, and the vast undulating grassland is like a thick green carpet. Countless cows, sheep and horses, like colorful pearls from many-hued, are all over the grassland. A large area of picturesque farmland by the lake is covered with wheat waves, cauliflower is golden, blue waves are boundless, and Qinghai Lake ripples gently like a cup of manna. When winter comes, Qinghai Lake is covered with frozen jade and silver, just like a huge treasure mirror, which shines in the sun and shines brightly all day.
Qinghai Lake is not only beautiful, but also an important wetland in the world. 1992 1 the State Council approved its accession to the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands of International Importance Especially as Waterfowl Habitat, and listed Qinghai Lake in the list of wetlands of international importance. Moreover, China listed Bird Island in Qinghai Lake as a national nature reserve in 1980, a national key scenic spot in 1994 and a national nature reserve in 1997.
In the northwest corner of Qinghai Lake, there are two islands of different sizes and shapes, one east and the other west, standing on the blue lake. These two beautiful islands are the world-famous Bird Island. Bird Island, also known as Xiaoxi Mountain or Egg Island (named after birds and eggs everywhere). Located 4 kilometers north of Buha estuary, the eastern end of the island is large and the western end is narrow and long, shaped like a tadpole, with a total length of 1500 meters. After 1978, the bottom of the lake on the north, west and south sides is exposed and connected with the land. Bird Island has a gentle slope, the surface is covered with sand and gravel, and there are several springs flowing in the southwest of the island. Bird Island is a unique breeding ground for birds in Asia, and it is the first of the eight bird protected areas in China. Although Bird Island covers an area of only 0.5 square kilometers, there are more than 654.38+10,000 migratory birds in spring and summer. In order to protect the bird resources on the island, there is also a special institution responsible for bird research and protection.
Haixin Mountain in Qinghai Lake is also a tourist attraction. Haixinshan, also known as Longju Island, is rugged and has beautiful scenery. It has been famous for producing Longju since ancient times.
In the past two years, "Crossing Warriors" Zhang Jian successfully challenged Qinghai Lake. The success of the "Lake Tournament" for two consecutive years made Qinghai Lake, a magical "woman" hidden in the boudoir, finally unveil the mysterious veil in front of the world and show a charming smile. Its endless and graceful lakes, grassy beaches and towering snow-capped mountains attract crowds of tourists to visit and inspect.
