There are no foreign embassies in Guangzhou, only consulates. As for when visas will be restored, it depends on the work arrangements of the relevant countries, especially the changes in the epidemic.
1. Visa information
Currently, the U.S. Embassy in China has fully resumed student visa (F1) work, including the four embassies and consulates in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenyang. Judging from the current progress, there are no large-scale scheduling problems. They can all be booked and signed quickly, and the interview questions are relatively simple. Students who need to apply for a student visa can apply as soon as possible if there are few applicants.
Two. Immigration Policy
International students who currently hold a valid F1/M1 visa can directly enter the United States with a valid visa within 30 days before the start of school if their institution plans to start school after August 1, 2021.
There are four specific requirements for F-1/M-1 students:

2. You are only allowed to enter the United States within 30 days before the start of school;
3. The visa must be within the validity period;

Three. Epidemic prevention requirements
Immigration is required to provide a nucleic acid test report within 3 days before boarding, and infected immigrants are required to provide recovery documents within 3 months.
After entering the United States, you will need to undergo a nucleic acid test again within 3-5 days and be quarantined at home for 7 days; if you are not tested, you will be quarantined for 10 days and follow local epidemic prevention measures.
If a non-direct flight enters the United States, you can take a COVID-19 test within 3 days before the first flight, but the conditions must be met: it is a connecting flight destined for the United States and any one of the flights does not exceed 24 hours , otherwise a COVID-19 test report within 3 days before the last flight is required; if the flight is delayed, the inspection requirements within 3 days need to be met again.
Immigrants who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 are also required to provide a COVID-19 test report.
In order to ensure a safe return to school, please further check the policy requirements of your school.
Four. Vaccine policy
1. All students returning to school must be vaccinated;
2. Some schools will provide vaccination services for students who do not meet the vaccination requirements;
3. Students who cannot be vaccinated due to medical exemption or religious reasons can apply to the school and explain the situation;
4. Regardless of whether they are vaccinated or not, they must maintain social distance on campus, wear masks, and Wash hands/disinfect, and perform nucleic acid testing regularly;
5. Schools usually recognize vaccines approved by the FDA and WHO.
Note: Per the President’s proclamation, students currently in China are exempt from travel restrictions related to COVID-19. Students enrolled in academic programs on or after August 1, 2021 can obtain a visa and travel to the United States if other conditions are met.
Because entry into the United States is determined by Customs and Border Protection officers at the port of entry. Travelers are required to provide a recent negative COVID19 test report prior to entry
