Lebugou, the secret land of Shannan.

Lebugou, located at the border of Cuona County in Shannan, Tibet, is one of the four major ravines in Tibet. April on the earth should be a season of flowers, but the wind in Cuona, the county seat at an altitude of 4700, is really strong, and Cuona Lake not far from the county seat is still frozen and white. From Lhasa to Cuona County, we drove all day and arrived at this border town after 7 pm.

However, Lebugou is a completely different place from Cuona County. Thousands of miles are frozen and the wind is blowing hard. Ice and snow melt and spring is warm. Starting from the county seat, along the Panshan Highway, the altitude dropped from more than four to more than two thousand. At the bottom of the ditch, there are swift streams and red cherry blossoms all the way. The ditch is mainly Sherpas, who used to live mainly by hunting, but now they are also reclaiming wasteland and planting crops. Farmers in twos and threes are scattered in narrow valleys, and cattle and sheep walk leisurely on the road, comfortable and calm, completely not afraid of vehicles and strangers.

Further on, it is a tourist town planned by the government. The town is very small and located at the bottom of the valley. Looking up, you can see the snow-capped mountains, but there are trees and flowers all around. The houses in the town are all piled up with stones, the doors and windows are all made of wood, and the roofs are painted red, which is neat and without losing the national characteristics, and looks particularly beautiful against the blue sky and snow-capped mountains.

Further on, there is a small village on the border. There are few residents in the village, mainly soldiers stationed at the border. The mountain is covered with magnolia, and at the foot of the mountain is a gurgling water and a wooden bridge, and there is a hut. There is a small temple and observation deck on the opposite hill. It is said that it is the place where Master Lotus Peanut practiced when he was a child, and the footprints of Master Lotus Peanut still remain on the stone wall.

I don't believe in Buddhism, but going to the temple still feels sacred, so I became a believer. It is said that India is opposite the observation deck. Here, the Chinese and Indian military and civilians live in friendship without conflict. Perhaps the beautiful scenery makes people feel quiet, so life becomes quiet.

When I first came to Loeb, I felt like a fairyland like Peach Blossom Garden. It was sparsely populated, but the scenery was beautiful and calm as an oil painting. Unfortunately, the phone is broken and the previous photos have not been saved. If I have the chance to go back to Tibet and go to Shannan, I will definitely go to Lebugou again, and then go to a small village on the border to eat Sichuan food cooked by the Sichuan chef in the village.
