Standard for setting traffic signs in tourist attractions

Guiding the tourist area should be completed by the guiding signs on the road at the road network level, and the tourist area signs can be set at the intersections near the tourist area.

The setting of tourist signs should be coordinated with the guiding signs, which complement each other. Under normal circumstances, tourist areas below AAA level should not be marked with tourist areas.

The production and installation of traffic signs in scenic spots should strictly implement the national standards and conform to the relevant provisions of GB5768- 1999. (1) For a single tourist area, expressway adopts 4m 5m slab (referred to as Grade B), while other highways adopt 1.5m 3m slab (referred to as Grade B);

For the second and third types of tourist areas (spots), expressway adopts 3.4m 5.4m slab (referred to as Grade A) or 5. 1m 5.4m slab (referred to as Grade C), and other highways adopt 2.5m slab (referred to as Grade A).
