The lower station of the cableway is located near Gantong Temple in Cangshan Scenic Area, and the upper station is located near Zhenlong Chess Bureau and Qingbi Stream, with a total length of about 2.5 kilometers. After taking the cableway to the last stop, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cangshan Grand Canyon and Qingbi Stream, which is also the starting point of the southernmost tip of the "Dai Tour Road".

Cangshan Shengyingfeng, Gantong Temple, formerly known as Dangshan Temple, was founded in the Han Dynasty and rebuilt in the Tang Dynasty. There used to be 36 monasteries and monasteries in Gantong Temple, but they were severely damaged in the late Ming Dynasty, leaving only the next one (Dayun Temple and Silent Photo Gallery). The current site of Gantong Temple where Gantong cableway is located, most of which were rebuilt and repaired later. Gantong Temple is backed by Cangshan Mountain and faces Erhai Lake, surrounded by green tea gardens. Zhenlong chess game is a fictional plot in Jin Yong's martial arts masterpiece Tianlong Babu. It was founded by Wu Yazi, the leader of the bard, who wanted to use this chess game to recruit a talented disciple. This kind of chess game that no one can crack in martial arts novels for decades is not recorded in the real world of Go. It is said that the former site of Zhenlong Chess written by Jin Yong is located in Qingbi Stream Grand Canyon. The "Zhenlong Chessboard" located near the upper station of Kanto cableway was built according to the concept in the novel, but according to the aesthetic principle, Go was changed into a huge China chessboard. The whole chessboard is 25m long and 20m wide, each with a diameter of1.5m and a height of 0.5m.. The cable car can overlook the giant chess game surrounded by pine trees from a high altitude, which is very spectacular.

Qingbi Stream

Qingbixi is located between Cangshan El Nino Peak and Malong Peak. Clear spring water poured down from the cliff, forming a clear stream in the upper, middle and lower pools. The colors of the streams in the three pools are different. "The lower pool is dark blue, the middle pool is blue with crows, and the upper pool is green with parrots". Qingbi Stream is located at the southernmost tip of Dai Tour Road. If you have enough time, you can set foot on this beautiful mountain climbing road and walk to ride the Dragon Girl Pool or Zhonghe Hall. The mountain canyon where Qingbi Stream is located is Cangshan Grand Canyon, which was fractured in the east-west direction and eroded by running water during the ascent of Cangshan Peak thousands of years ago. There is a Grand Canyon observation deck not far from Qingbi Stream. After this observation deck, you can go to Tanshan Road.

Ximatan Cableway, also known as Grand Cableway and Tianlong Cableway, is the longest and tallest of the three ropeways. Baimatan Cableway Baihe West Station is located next to Tianlong Babu Film and Television City. There is a "Dragon Riding Women's Pool Station" in the middle of the ropeway, and the upper station is located near Xima Beach at an altitude of nearly 4,000 meters. Ximatan cableway is 5555 meters long and is divided into two parts: Baihexi and Qilongnvpo.

Ximatan has the reputation of "Lake on the Peak". It is located between Yujufeng and Longquanfeng in Cangshan, with an altitude of 3920 meters. According to legend, this alpine lake was named after Yuan Shizu Kublai Khan who crossed Cangshan Mountain to wash horses here. According to historical records, there was a mountain reservoir in Ximatan during Nanzhao period, which was used to irrigate farmland under the mountain. The temperature at the top of the mountain is much lower than that at the foot of the mountain. When you climb the observation deck at an altitude of 3980 meters, you can have a panoramic view of Ximatan. The lake is surrounded by charming alpine azaleas, but the scenery is different all year round, only azaleas are different every month. When the weather is fine, the pool reflects the blue sky, showing an irresistible sapphire blue.

Qinv Pool is the intermediate station of Ximatan cableway, and it is also the only place on the jade belt tourist road. The spring water flowing out of the middle of Cangshan Black Dragon Creek has formed seven pools. According to legend, this is the place where the seven dragon girls of the Dragon King of Erhai Lake bathe and rest. They come here to bathe every summer night when the moon is high, and they don't return to Erhai Dragon Palace until dawn. Sweet mountain spring water covers the rock wall like white satin, and falls into the pool to make a pleasant sound, creating a fairyland in the mountains.

Tianlong Babu Film and Television City at the foot of Cangshan Mountain is one of the shooting bases of the TV series Tianlong Babu. Cinema consists of Dali Kingdom, Liao Kingdom, Xixia Palace and Jurchen Tribe. In the antique buildings, you can feel the prosperous social features of Dali at that time. Zhonghe Cableway, also known as Cangshan Cableway and Small Cableway, is the northernmost of the three ropeways, and the lowest height it can reach is about halfway up the mountain. There are no more scenic spots along the Zhonghe cableway than the other two, only the Zhonghe Temple on the station. Friends who like burning incense and hiking can choose this ropeway. For ordinary tourists, it is best to recommend the other two. The difference of this ropeway is that its trunk is old-fashioned, that is, a pure open-air hanging chair seat without a shell.

Zhonghe Temple

Zhonghe Temple, located on the mountainside of Zhonghe Peak in Cangshan Mountain, is a very famous Taoist temple in Dali. Zhenghe Peak is the central peak of "Cangshan Nineteen Peaks", facing Dali Ancient City and Erhai Lake at the foot of the mountain, so it has become the best place to overlook the scenery of Dali Ancient City and Erhai Lake. It includes the Zhonghe Hall Juxian Building, Gong Ling Palace, Jade Emperor Pavilion and other halls. The ninth day of the first lunar month is the birthday of the Jade Emperor every year. There will be a grand "Peach Blossom Party" in Zhonghe Temple, and there will be an endless stream of Bai people going to the market nearby. Zhonghe Hall is also the only place on the jade belt tourist road. Many hikers will come here from the southernmost Qingbi Stream and take the cable car down the mountain.

"Jade Belt Cloud Tour Road" is the most famous route for hiking Cangshan Mountain, and it is a mountain landscape hiking trail. If you want to know Cangshan in depth, you might as well take the Jade Belt Road. As the name implies, Jade Belt Road is like a gentle ribbon floating around the waist of Cangshan Mountain. Dai Yu Road is about18km long and 2m wide. The northernmost part is located in Yunyoufang near the "Cangshan TV Station Transfer Station" in Yinglefeng, and the southernmost part is located near Qingbi Stream in Malong Peak, connecting many wonderful attractions in Cangshan. The whole Jade Belt Road is built for hikers, with little ups and downs. There are trails suitable for tourists, which are very easy to walk.
