Communication issues. Chengdu locals like to communicate in dialect, that is, Chengdu dialect, so it is a bit difficult for people who have just arrived in Chengdu to communicate with the locals. Chengdu is relatively humid. Perhaps because of this, Chengdu’s various delicacies are spicy, because chilies can eliminate moisture from the body. People who have just arrived in Chengdu may experience discomfort on their body and skin, but it may get better after a while, so don’t worry too much.

Chengdu has a lot of rain, but it mostly rains at night. The so-called night rain means that it usually rains at night and rarely rains during the day. When I was studying in Chengdu, it rained basically every night, but it stopped during the day. It took me a long time to discover this pattern. So it’s best to bring an umbrella with you.
