Chapter II Safety Management of Interim Measures for Tourism Safety Management

Article 8: Responsibilities of tourism safety management institutions:

(2) organizing and implementing tourism safety education and publicity;
(3) to inspect and accept the safety facilities of tourism enterprises and institutions before opening in conjunction with relevant departments;
(4) urging and inspecting tourism enterprises and institutions to implement the insurance system for the personal and property safety of tourists;
(5) Accepting tourists' complaints about safety issues and properly handling them together with relevant departments;
(6) Establish and improve the safety inspection work system and hold regular safety work meetings;
(7) participating in the handling of accidents involving the personal and property safety of tourists.
Tourism safety management is divided into four levels: minor, general, major and extraordinarily serious accidents:
(1) A minor accident refers to an accident that causes minor injuries to tourists or economic losses of less than 1, yuan;
(2) A general accident refers to an accident that causes serious injuries to tourists or economic losses ranging from 1, yuan to 1, yuan (including 1, yuan);
(3) A major accident refers to an accident that causes the death of a tourist or the serious injury and disability of a tourist, or the economic loss is between 1, yuan and 1 million yuan (including 1, yuan);
(4) Extraordinary accidents refer to those who have caused many tourists to die, or suffered economic losses of more than 1 million yuan, or are particularly serious in nature and have a significant impact.
