Where is Xuchang?

Xuchang is a prefecture-level city in Henan Province, and Xuchang County belongs to Xuchang City.

Xuchang is a regional central city of Zhongyuan urban agglomeration, a transportation and logistics hub city of Zhongyuan Economic Zone, an important advanced manufacturing base in China, and a famous historical and cultural city in Han and Wei Dynasties. It is located in the middle of Henan Province, bordering Zhoukou City in the east, Luohe City in the south, Pingdingshan City in the west, Zhengzhou City in the north and Kaifeng City in the northeast.

The western part of Xuchang is a low mountain with the highest elevation of1150m. The eastern part is the western edge of Huaihai Plain, with the lowest elevation of 50 meters. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, and slowly inclines from northwest to southeast. The landscape can be divided into east-west zones, which can be divided into three types according to the geomorphological causes and morphological combinations: plain, mountain and hill.
