Guicheng Half Moon Island Ecological Park, as an important node of the Foshan demonstration section of "Wan Li Bidao" and an important part of the 63km riverside landscape belt in Guicheng, has been designed and built according to high standards, and will surely become another explosion park in Guicheng and even Nanhai and Foshan, injecting new vitality into the construction of Guicheng "park city". The park has built brand-new landscape nodes such as circular plank road, lake island square, air corridor, space-themed children's play area and sunny beach. A large area of bamboo gardens, big trees and the beach area under the high-altitude plank road were preserved in situ, retaining the original historical memory of Guicheng people in Half Moon Island.

Ecological Oasis in the City

As a wetland park, one of the biggest highlights of Half Moon Island Ecological Park is that all the "arteries" are introduced into Dongping River, and the water quality on the island has been greatly improved. These living waters will flow back to Dongping Hanoi after being filtered by the micro-ecosystem of the stream wetland, thus realizing the circular flow of natural water bodies. Overlooking the Half Moon Island Ecological Park, the air corridor meets the circular plank road, which constitutes the highest sightseeing spot of the park, broadens the viewing horizon and fully enhances the viewing experience of the citizens. The corridor on the outermost layer of the circular plank road is surrounded by characteristic railings, and the size and inclination angle of each railing are different. The overall shape reflects the periodic change of the "moon" and echoes the moon culture in the park.

Huxindao square

Follow two straight plank roads through the park, and you will come to Huxin Island Square on the other side. There is a two-story creative container station on the island, where tourists can bathe in the sun or take a nap, surrounded by trees and lakes, forming a 360-degree water environment.

As night falls and the lights are on, the light and shadow of Half Moon Island Ecological Park meet in time and space, creating a gorgeous visual feast. Fish that can be avoided, ice that can be crushed, beautiful firefly bamboo forest ... Guicheng is still at the gate of the park and other nodes, focusing on creating a very interesting interactive light projection.
