Hecheng town, Heshan City is located in the middle of Heshan City. When Heshan was founded in Yongzheng 10, it was the seat of county administration, with a long history and many cultural relics. The town covers a total area of 178 square kilometers, governs 15 village committees and 1 neighborhood committees, and has a population of 32,000, of which Hakkas account for 4/5. It is the most concentrated place of Hakkas in Heshan City and one of the famous hometown of overseas Chinese in Heshan City.
