How do individuals visit relatives in Taiwan Province Province?

Mainland residents of the motherland who wish to settle down, visit relatives, friends, travel, accept and dispose of property, and handle weddings and funerals in Taiwan Province Province must apply to the municipal or county public security bureau where their household registration is located.

(two) mainland residents of the motherland who apply for going to Taiwan Province Province shall go through the following procedures:

1, identity and household registration certificate;

2. Fill in the application form for going to Taiwan Province Province;

3. On-the-job and on-campus personnel shall submit the opinions of their units on the applicant's going to Taiwan Province Province; Non-on-the-job and on-campus personnel submit the opinions of the local police station on the applicant's trip to Taiwan Province Province;

4. Submit the certificate corresponding to the application. That is: proof that you can settle in Taiwan Province Province must be submitted for settlement; To visit relatives and friends, you must submit proof of the relationship between relatives and friends in Taiwan Province Province; To accept and dispose of property, a notarized certificate of the legal rights of the property shall be submitted; To handle marriage affairs, notarized proof of marital status must be submitted; For the funeral of relatives and friends, relevant letters or notices shall be submitted; Other certificates deemed necessary by the competent authority.

Invited to Taiwan for exchanges (commonly known as official business) refers to inviting groups or individuals to Taiwan for cultural, educational, scientific and technological, health, sports, news and other exchanges, visits, inspections, exhibitions and economic and trade activities. The exchange in Taiwan Province needs to go through two procedures: project establishment and approval.

1, project procedure

Materials for project application: request for instructions on project application, invitation letter from Taiwan Province, schedule of stay in Taiwan, background and credit information of the inviting unit in Taiwan Province, information of personnel to go to Taiwan, etc.

After the exchange program is approved, the invited units and individuals can reply to the other party's acceptance of the invitation, and notify Taiwan Province to go through the formalities of entering Taiwan.

Project materials are reported according to the administrative affiliation.

2. Examination and approval procedures

Submit the examination and approval materials: application report to Taiwan, invitation letter to Taiwan, schedule of activities to Taiwan, and list of personnel to Taiwan. When necessary, the political and social background, credit standing, papers or thesis outlines of Taiwan Province participants in the seminar, and invitations from Taiwan Province to other mainland participants should be provided.

If you go to Taiwan Province due to old age or poor health, you should attach the certificate that the unit or group unit agrees to bear the accident expenses and the medical certificate issued by the provincial hospital agreeing to travel for a long time.

Fill in the list of people going to Taiwan as required, namely, name, gender, nationality, date of birth, work unit and position, identity of going to Taiwan, location of registered permanent residence, etc. Personnel going to Taiwan shall truthfully fill in four copies according to the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government where their household registration is located.

After the exchange plan is approved, the Taiwan Province Affairs Office of the State Council will issue the Approval Document for Going to Taiwan.

Personnel going to Taiwan should strictly abide by the time approved in the Approval Document for Going to Taiwan and return on time.

With the approval of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the personnel going to Taiwan shall, within the effective time limited by the approval, go to the exit-entry administration department of the provincial public security organ where the household registration is located or the authorized local public security department to apply for the mainland residents' travel permit to and from Taiwan.

3, for mainland residents to Taiwan pass.

Materials required by the public security department: Approval Document for Going to Taiwan issued by the Taiwan Affairs Office. (The team leader shall attach the original and other copies, one for each person); Letter of introduction issued by the unit where Taiwan Province personnel work; A copy of the invitation letter and "Entry Permit" from Taiwan Province; My ID card (photocopy), household registration book (photocopy) and 4 photos of two-inch bareheaded passport.

Some areas are required to provide relevant certificates issued by the local Taiwan Affairs Office when going to Taiwan to apply for a certificate.

When non-public officials go to Taiwan, they should apply to the local public security organ for relevant procedures with the official letter of the Taiwan Affairs Office.

4, customs clearance replacement matters
