How to get from Wuzhen to Xitang
Preface to Xitang Travel Guide: This is the third Xitang Travel Guide I have uploaded. The first two articles had a lot of views, but for some reason, they didn’t make it to the homepage. I was really depressed. This time I must perform well, have pictures and the truth, and let my strategy be on the homepage. Since the Xitang Tourism Bureau has recently made many reforms to the tourist area, I feel it is necessary to upgrade my guide and use the most complete and latest information to help every tourist friend. If you want to go to Xitang and plan to go to Xitang, then you can bookmark this article of mine. If you have already been to Xitang, you can still save this article, because Xitang is a place you want to go to again. If you are already in Xitang, you can still bookmark this article and share it with your friends. However, collections belong to collections. Please get my consent before you want to reprint. Text: 1. Briefly introduce Xitang: Xitang is located in Jiashan County, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, with superior geographical location and convenient transportation. Since the release of Tom Cruise's "Mission: Impossible 3", it has entered a peak period of tourism and is now a national 4A tourist area. Xitang is not large in scale, so you can explore it in depth by choosing a self-guided tour for 1-2 days. 2. How to get to Xitang 1. From Shanghai to Xitang: (1) Railway (not recommended): 8 high-speed trains in Shanghai pass through Jiashan South Railway Station every day, but due to management problems, there are no buses passing through Jiashan South Railway Station. Then just follow the route from Jiashan to Xitang. 7. Friends from other areas can choose to go to one of the above cities first, and then follow the route to Xitang. 3. Tickets (please read carefully, there are major changes here) Xitang Tourism Bureau decided to implement a daily ticket collection system starting from May 7, 2012, which means that the previous situation of not collecting tickets from Monday to Friday no longer exists , and the ticket collection time has also changed, and it is divided into two types: self-guided tour and self-driving tour. 1. The ticket collection time for self-guided tours (taking a bus to Xitang) is from 8 am to 4 pm. If you want to enter the scenic spot during this time, there are only two ways to buy tickets or find scalpers. Of course, find the scalpers themselves. It’s a risky thing, so please weigh the pros and cons for yourself. It usually costs about 20 yuan for scalpers to bring people into the scenic spot. 2. The ticket collection time for self-driving tours is from 8 am to 8 pm. 3. Fare evasion. The fare evasion method is relatively simple, but it is not open to the public. Friends who need it can send me a message on the site and I will try my best to reply to everyone. Ticket Types There are currently two types of Xitang tickets. One is a joint ticket, which costs 100 yuan each and covers 11 small attractions in the entire scenic area (I will list the specific tour routes for these 11 attractions at the end of the article. ). There is also a single ticket, also called a night tour ticket, which costs 50 yuan each. However, please note that night tour tickets are only sold after 3 p.m., which means that you can only enter the scenic spot before 3 p.m. Buy a ticket for 100 yuan. Since we are talking about tickets, we will explain the cruise tickets together. The cruise tickets are also divided into two time periods, Sunday to Thursday. For individual travelers with same-day tickets, the price is 20 yuan per person, and the charter fee is 150 yuan per boat. Individual travelers without same-day tickets cost 30 yuan per person, chartered boat fee is 200 yuan per boat, and each boat is limited to 8 people. On Fridays and Saturdays, national statutory holidays, the fee for tourists with tickets is exactly the same as above. Individual tourists without same-day tickets are 40 yuan per person, and the charter fee is 280 yuan per boat. Each boat is limited to 8 people. The opening hours of the cruise ship are divided into day tour and night tour. The day tour time is from 8 am to 5 pm, and the night tour time is from 5 pm to 8:30 pm. Night tour is recommended. The night view of Xitang is more beautiful, but it is too noisy during the day. There are 3 cruise routes. Tourists can choose according to their own needs. The tour time is about 30 minutes.
4. Accommodation In Xitang, there are many accommodation options. From high-end star hotels to inns renovated from residential buildings, you can find them at various price points. Therefore, accommodation in Xitang is generally divided into three types of regular hotels. There are many regular hotels in Xitang and the prices are not expensive. They are no different from hotels in the city, but the accommodation conditions are very ordinary. The more representative one is the Xitang Holiday Inn (three-star hotel) level), Kaixun Hotel (two-star foreign-related). Linshui Inn and Linhe Inn have advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that the scenery is good. No matter early in the morning or at night, you can see the beautiful scenery of Xitang when you open the window. It occupies an advantageous location. The disadvantage is that the inns near the river are generally renovated old houses. The room is relatively small, the sound insulation is poor, and there are a lot of mosquitoes in the summer. Bulinhe Inn also has its own advantages and disadvantages. Bulinhe Inn is generally located in a small alley in Xitang. It is relatively quiet and will not be woken up in the morning. The equipment is generally relatively new, and the design and layout of the rooms are very distinctive. The disadvantage is obvious. Without the incomparable water view, it is no different from living at home. I can't describe the difference between a carved bed and an ordinary bed in words. My photos will be posted at the end of the article, so friends can compare them for themselves. In terms of price, on normal working days, the price of the inn is between 100-300 yuan, but on weekends or holidays, it is normal for the price to rise several times. In addition, there is no price difference between those near the water and those without. It’s big, so it’s better for all tourists to choose the most suitable place based on their own financial strength. Remember to shop around. 5. Snacks have finally come to my favorite. It would be a shame not to eat when you come to Xitang. But if you only come here to eat, then the snacks in Xitang will definitely disappoint you. Not that Xitang The food is not delicious, but when the raw materials are average, it is difficult to produce amazing food. Regardless of whether it is delicious or not, I will take stock of Xitang's special snacks for everyone. 1. Xitang Guan Laotai’s stinky tofu, this is the most famous snack in Xitang. Counterfeit fakes are everywhere in Xitang, and the taste is also uneven. However, according to my research, I learned that the most authentic Guan Lao Tai’s shop is On Shiban Road, it is said that Mrs. Guan’s son is running the business, but unfortunately, Shiban Road is outside the scenic area, so if you want to buy authentic Guan Guan’s stinky tofu, you have to go outside the scenic area, so you can make up your own mind about the price. They are all the same, 5 yuan a box and 6 yuan a box. 2. Gorgon cake, a long-established specialty of Xitang. Basically all tourists will take some home. There are many different flavors to choose from, and the taste is quite good. The more famous one is Yixiantian Pastry, located on West Street. and Forest Gorgon Cake and Caoji Pastry, located on Tangdong Street. The price is generally 10 yuan per box. 3. Xitang Little Wontons, the most famous one is Lu’s Little Wontons. It is located in the square at the east end of West Street, but I think the taste is just like that. The most important thing is that its price has increased again. Now the price It’s 6 yuan for a bowl. You can eat it if you want, but it doesn’t matter if you don’t. However, when I went to Xitang this time, I found that the fermented rice dumplings in Lu’s Little Wonton Shop are delicious. They cost 5 yuan for a bowl. You can try it. 4. Xitang Tofu Pudding, one of the famous snacks in Xitang. There is a stall of Qian's Tofu Pudding next to Yongning Bridge. The taste is not bad, but the price has also increased. A bowl now costs 5 yuan. 5. Steamed pork with vermicelli, one of the most unpalatable snacks in Xitang. Some friends may think that I have not tasted the authentic one, but I can tell you responsibly that I have tasted 4 brands and they all taste the same. Very unpalatable. All are glutinous rice. A little bit of pork, and even more exaggeratedly, there was tenderloin in it. What a tragedy, the price is 4-6 yuan a piece. Not recommended for everyone to taste. Whoever eats it will regret it. 6. Tie Pork actually tastes similar to braised pork, but a little saltier. It’s okay to eat whatever you want. 3 yuan a piece. 7. Smoked green beans, this is very delicious and fragrant. I plan to buy more and take it home to eat, haha. There are two kinds of packaging, one is 8 yuan, and the other is 10 yuan. Every store seems to have the same taste, because it’s so busy. Try it one family at a time. 8. Malt pancakes. Xitang locals seem to have the traditional custom of eating pancakes in the Beginning of Summer. Pancakes are a sweet fried pastry. To say it is a sweet pastry is a bit euphemistic. According to my taste, it is really delicious. It's too sweet, but some people think it's delicious, and the price is relatively cheap at 3 yuan each. The more famous ones are Yang's Tao Pancake and Wolong Tao Pancake, both of which are located on the stone road. 9. The best noodles in the world, the taste is average. And the price is a bit expensive, which doesn’t feel like a good deal. A bowl of noodles costs more than twenty yuan. I'd rather go stir-fry some side dishes for dinner. 10. Maltose, I don’t like eating sugar, but students who like sweets can try it themselves. The price is also cheap, 3 yuan a bunch. Basically, these are the local specialty snacks in Xitang. Of course, I don’t rule out the ones I haven’t eaten. Friends are welcome to help add. 6. Restaurants In addition to snacks, Xitang’s restaurants are also diverse, ranging from high-end to low-end. As a 4A-level tourist area, Xitang’s dining prices are cheap, but cheap does not mean affordable, because the taste of most restaurants is really Without being complimentary, here I will give you an inventory of the more reliable restaurants that are still open in Xitang: 1. Qiantang Renjia: Qiantang Renjia is the most famous hotel in Xitang. It is located under the Yongning Bridge. The store is relatively large in Xitang. The business is very prosperous. Since it is an old house renovated, the sanitary conditions are relatively average. However, it has a balcony along the river and the scenery is very beautiful. The price is not very high either. Their menu will be posted at the end of the article for your reference.
Maybe it’s because they’re so popular. Their dishes are all prepared in advance, and the serving speed is super fast. It doesn’t take more than 3 minutes from ordering to serving, and they don’t order after 7:30 pm. Let me remind everyone that the service attitude of Qiantang people is very, very poor. If you order slowly or order too little, you will be looked down upon by the waiter. The taste of the food is acceptable above the overall level of Xitang. Considering the environment, food prices, and services, Qiantang's cost-effectiveness is quite high, but there are no dishes that impress me. It is more suitable for those who only want the scenery and everything else is just floating clouds. 2. Yulouchun Hotel: A time-honored hotel in Xitang, located on Tawan Street. It is a time-honored restaurant and the largest hotel in the western section. It attracts an endless stream of diners. The sanitary conditions are much better than those in Qiantang, and the prices can be said to be very, very cheap. There will also be a menu posted at the end of the article. Although the price is cheap, the taste of the food in this restaurant is definitely very authentic. However, the main reason why I recommend this restaurant is that the service attitude of this restaurant is very, very good. From the boss to the waiters, they are all very kind. They will ask you about your taste before ordering, and then recommend different dishes for different tastes. Very thoughtful. Overall, it is the most cost-effective hotel in Xitang. It is more suitable for friends who want to taste Xitang's special dishes, feel the local customs of Xitang, and care about the price. This shop's specialties of Xitang, such as fried screws in soy sauce, clams with scallion oil, eel paste with oil, steamed white fish, etc., all impressed me deeply. I really want to go there again. 3. The most popular hotel in Laopinfang Xitang is located on Beizha Street. But the week I went there, they were closed and not open. It was a pity. I will try to try it next time I go there. 7. Among the 11 scenic spots included in the tourist route coupon, only Wuniang Park and Zhang Zhenggen Sculpture Museum are outside the scenic area. Among them, two temples, Huguo Liangwang Temple and Shengtang Temple, are places to cheat money and are not recommended to visit. The Drunken Garden is located in Tawan Street and Wang's House, the Button Museum, the Wadang Hall is located in West Street, the Rice Wine Museum is located in Tangdong Street, the Wood Sculpture Hall and Ni's House are located in Hong Kong. The specific tour route is generally, first visit the Drunken Garden, and then go through the ring show Turn right on the bridge to see Wang's Residence. After that, go back and go straight to see the Button Museum and then the Wadang Museum. Exit West Street, cross Anjing Bridge and turn right. Then turn left under Lujia Bridge and enter Burning Hong Kong. Visit the Wood Sculpture Museum and Ni Zhai, and finally went to the Wine Culture Museum. 8. National costumes. Many women come to Xitang to visit, and they will inevitably consume some ethnic costumes with Xitang characteristics. First of all, it should be noted that these national costumes cannot be purchased on a certain website. There are two chain stores in Xitang that are engaged in the business of ethnic clothing, one is Flower Production and the other is Yiduo. The quality of the clothes is similar. After all, this kind of clothes can only be worn in Xitang, not to work or school. 9. Bars It makes sense to rank the bars in Xitang in the ninth place. There are many bars in Xitang. Tangdong Street is also known as Bar Street. There are nearly 30 bars gathered on this small street. You can imagine how popular it is. First, let’s talk about the consumption in Xitang bars. Generally speaking, the consumption in Xitang bars is almost the same as that in other cities. The worst beer is 25 yuan a bottle, and the price is the same. The fruit plate is about 20 yuan, the foreign wine is very expensive and there are a lot of fake wines, and the cocktails are just so-so. But the biggest difference between a Xitang bar and a city bar is that it is very safe and there will be no illegal activities such as drugging in the wine. And everyone is a tourist, coming to Xitang for leisure and entertainment. Basically, there will be no jealousy or fights. It is precisely because of the good security work that the bar business in Xitang is also very booming. Photos will be posted soon so everyone can take a look. 10. Closing This guide is finally over. If you feel that there is anything unclear, you can write to me on the site or leave a comment. As long as I can answer it, I will do my best to help everyone and complete a wonderful, A memorable trip to Xitang.
