During the Qingming Festival, I took the opportunity to return to my hometown to sweep graves and visit the long-awaited Shenju Mountain Scenic Area. Shenju Mountain, also called Tianshan Mountain, is located in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, at the junction of Gaoyou City, Yizheng City and Tianchang City. It is located in Songqiao Town, Gaoyou City, Yangzhou. It was caused by a volcanic eruption 12 million years ago. Therefore, the surrounding area is rich in granite.

The excavation of Han Tombs in Tianshan once caused a nationwide sensation. After the excavation of Tombs No. 1 and 2, they were moved to Yangzhou and built a Han Tomb Museum for people to visit. The owner of the Han Tomb was the first generation Guangling Wang Liuxu and the queen used "Huang Chang Ti Cou", which was of very high standard. Now there is an ancient ginkgo tree next to the Han Tomb, like a sentinel on the top of the mountain, guarding the unexcavated Han Tomb No. 3.

This ancient ginkgo tree is said to be thousands of years old, but legends remain legends. After on-site inspection, we found that the exact number is 315 years old, and it is a protected ancient and valuable tree.

To the east of the ancient ginkgo tree, there is a temple called the Ancient Wukong Temple. It reminds us of the monkey brother Sun Wukong in "Journey to the West". It turns out that there is a real person named Wukong. The ancient Wukong Temple seen at the scene has two main halls. The front one is tall and solemn and seems to be unfinished. The small main hall at the back is full of sutras. There is also a big bell in the corridor outside the hall, which means "if you are a monk, you will ring the bell every day." clock.

It is said that after the expansion, the ancient Wukong Temple covers an area of ??99 acres. Judging from the unfinished buildings on site, it is indeed magnificent. The newly built Main Hall with double eaves rests on the top of the mountain. Looking up from the steps, it is indeed tall. The two sides under the steps are indeed tall. There are also several terracotta warriors and horses.

Shenju Mountain is also the hometown of Emperor Yao in ancient times. About one kilometer south of Shenju Mountain, an Emperor Yao Square was built, but the site does not seem to have been fully completed. Jinshui Bridge only has a foundation, not even railings or roads.

It is a great place with mountains, water and culture. I have always longed for it before going there. After going there, I did have the slightest regret. All parts of the country are vigorously developing culture and tourism. How could Shenju Mountain be like this?
