Wanshou Palace in Nandan Mountain

When you climb to the top of Nandan Mountain, you can see a Taoist temple-Wanshou Palace.

Taoist temple is not big, but it is only progressive, but it enshrines the five immortals of "Fu, Lu, Shou, Xi and Cai" and protects the people on one side. The history of Taoist temple has been difficult to verify. It is said that this building existed a long time ago and sheltered the people of Nanshan Town to live and work in peace and contentment, and live a long and healthy life.

The current Wanshou Palace was built by local villagers through crowdfunding, and the immortals worshipped are very popular. There is a local tradition: every year before the college entrance examination, prospective candidates, accompanied by their parents, specially climb mountains and pray for protection.

Nandan Mountain Waterfall Spring

The whole valley of Nandan Mountain is pregnant with countless waterfalls and streams, full of innocent beauty and flowing with the meaning of life. It passed through the jagged rocks in the mountain stream and stroked the coiled ancient wood. Some hang into a river and suddenly surge out of the sky; Some trickle, telling the story of the forest.

The mountain spring is rushing, tinkling, sometimes long, sometimes short, sometimes high, sometimes low, singing with a hundred birds, and the pines are still there, as if playing a forest symphony. Standing at the foot of the waterfall, listening to the magnificent impact and touching the greetings from the mountains, it is heartwarming.

Nandan Mountain Rainforest

Nandan Mountain is the only tropical rain forest in the Pearl River Delta region, and its plant cover is very rich. According to the investigation of South China plant research experts of China Academy of Sciences, there are more than 3, plant species in the mountain, including more than 7 medicinal plants and more than 2 national second-class protected plants, such as Alsophila spinulosa and Ilex.

Walking into the mountains is like walking in the Botanical Museum. All kinds of plants attached to trees, such as ferns, Dendrobium, usnea, etc. Pole-like poles are wrapped around trees, and there are many unknown animals and birds, which make people dizzying.

Yunlaige observation deck is located at the highest point of the Rainforest Valley Scenic Area. This observation deck is built according to the terrain, with blue sky on the top, overlooking the earth on the bottom, deep on three sides and surrounded by forests on four sides. Here, with a high view, the whole Nanshan town can be seen at a panoramic view. The distant green hills are looming, and the rivers are winding like a belt. There are endless fertile fields, beautiful pools, mulberry and bamboo farms and tapestries of the earth.

Yunlaige Observation Deck

Yunlaige Observation Deck is located at the highest point of Rainforest Valley Scenic Area. This observation deck is built according to the terrain, with blue sky on the top, overlooking the earth on the bottom, deep on three sides and surrounded by forests on four sides. Here, with a high view, the whole Nanshan town can be seen at a panoramic view. The distant green hills are looming, and the rivers are winding like a belt. There are endless fertile fields, beautiful pools, mulberry and bamboo farms and tapestries of the earth.

This is also the best place to watch the sunset. Looking at the horizon, the sunset slowly sets, and the red sunset clouds pass through the treetops and lightly fall on the body, allowing time to slip by quietly.

Flying Cable in the Canyon

The flying cable project that spans over 3 meters between the top of Nandan Mountain and halfway up the mountain, with a drop of 5 meters. Visitors can jump from the peak over 25 meters above sea level, feel the infinite gravity from the center of the earth and gain the pleasure of conquering the valley.
