Mount Tai is located in the middle of Shandong Province. In ancient times, it was called Daishan or Daizong Mountain, and it was renamed Taishan in the Spring and Autumn Period, that is, 770-476. C. Mount Tai was listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1987. The mountain has a total area of 426 square kilometers and a circumference of 80 kilometers.

They meet at Zhongtianmen, and there are 6293 steps in the 9-kilometer journey to the top of the mountain. The scenic spots include Longtan Reservoir, Zhongtianmen, Wutiansong, Duansongshan, 18 turn, Nantianmen, Bixiatian Pool, Zhanglutai, Guanri Peak and Guanyue Peak. The four wonders of Huangshan Mountain are the rising sun in the east, the golden zone along the Yellow River, the beautiful sunset and the sea of clouds. Other attractions include Kistler Wharf, Fanya, Ole Peak, Black Dragon Pool, Changsheng Bridge and Longtan Waterfall.

On the top of Danshan Mountain, there is a path from Songshan Valley to Nantianmen with 18 turns, which is called the ladder. Although the path is only a little over a kilometer long, it is as high as 400 meters. The steps along the road are composed of Tianshan schist. Now there is a cable car from Zhongtianmen to the top of Wang Fu.

Mount Tai, one of the mountain parks in China, is a natural museum of history and art. Along its axis, there are 1. 800 stone carvings, including the famous Qin Carved Road, the Buddhist Diamond Sutra through the Stone Valley, the wordless tablet and the Taishan historical scripture carved on the cliff at the end of the Tang Dynasty. Tiankuang Hall, the Daimiao Temple on Mount Tai, is one of the three halls in China (the other two are Taihe Hall in the Forbidden City and Dacheng Hall in Qufu). The 40 Luohan statues in the Thousand Buddhas Hall of Lingyan Temple can be traced back to the Song Dynasty.
