Decision of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress on Amending the "Sichuan Provincial Tourism Management Regulations" (2003)

1. Delete Article 15: "Overseas travel agencies that apply to establish tourism offices in our province shall submit to the national tourism administrative department for review and approval after being reviewed and approved by the provincial tourism administrative department." 2. Delete Article 18: " The tourism industry implements designated management. Qualified tourism operating units or individuals such as scenic spots (attractions), restaurants, accommodations, shops, transportation, and entertainment can apply for designated operations. After review and approval by the tourism administrative department, they will be awarded the designated tourism mark. Tour groups can be received. The designated implementation measures shall be formulated by the provincial people's government. Travel agencies shall not arrange to receive tour groups in non-designated units. "3. Delete Article 19: "Tour vehicles (vessels) shall be designated by the tourism administrative department. (Boat) sign management. Travel agencies are not allowed to rent non-fixed vehicles (boats) to receive tourist groups." 4. Delete Article 26: "The tourism administrative department shall work with relevant departments to implement grading management of tourist attractions. The main contents are: (1) Implementation of laws and regulations;

(2) Tour order and public security conditions;

(3) Service quality; (4) Facilities and equipment in good condition Condition;

(5) Safety and health conditions. The grading standards shall be separately determined by the Provincial People's Government. "5. Delete the third item of Article 32: "(3) Violation of these Regulations. Article 18 Paragraph 2 and Article 19 shall impose a fine of not less than 5,000 yuan but not more than 20,000 yuan on travel agencies." 6. Delete Article 33: "The service quality of designated tourism units or individuals does not meet the requirements. If the standard is not met, the tourism administrative department shall order it to make corrections within a time limit. If the tourism administrative department does not meet the conditions for designated tourism, the tourism administrative department shall cancel the designated tourism qualification." 7. Article 27 is changed to Article 23, the second paragraph of which. Modified to: "The determination and adjustment of ticket prices for tourist attractions must be submitted for approval according to the price management authority. The implementation of the price increase for tourism groups will be delayed for 90 days from the date of approval of the price increase announcement." After the relevant content is modified, the order of the provisions is adjusted accordingly. This decision shall come into effect from the date of promulgation. The "Sichuan Province Tourism Management Regulations" will be re-announced after being revised accordingly in accordance with this decision.
