1. Performance of inbound tourism
In 2007, my country's inbound tourism market continued to develop steadily, with major statistical indicators increasing year-on-year:

——International tourism (foreign exchange) revenue reached US$41.919 billion, an increase of 23.5% over the previous year.
2. Domestic Tourism Performance
In 2007, my country's domestic tourism continued to grow strongly, with both the number of tourists and tourism revenue maintaining double-digit growth.
——The number of domestic tourists nationwide reached 1.610 billion, an increase of 15.5% over the previous year. Among them: 612 million were urban residents and 998 million were rural residents.
——The national domestic tourism revenue was 777.062 billion yuan, an increase of 24.7% over the previous year. Among them: urban residents’ tourism consumption was 555.039 billion yuan, and rural residents’ tourism consumption was 222.023 billion yuan.

——During the three "golden weeks" of the Spring Festival, May Day and National Day, the country received 417 million domestic tourists and achieved tourism revenue of 181.6 billion yuan.
3. Inbound tourist source markets
1. Foreign markets
In 2007, the foreign inbound market grew rapidly. Compared with the previous year, The number of people coming to China from all continents has increased by more than 10%. The number of inbound foreign tourists throughout the year was 26.1097 million, an increase of 17.6% over the previous year.

——The number of days of stay and per capita daily expenditure of foreign overnight tourists increased compared with the previous year. In 2007, the average stay time of foreign overnight tourists in the country was 7.0 days, an increase of 0.1 day over the previous year; the per capita daily expenditure was US$196.39, an increase of US$21.32 over the previous year, and a year-on-year increase of 12.2%.

IV. Inbound tourism reception and income in various provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities
——In 2007, the total number of inbound tourists received by provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country was 73.1138 million, which was 73.1138 million. Guangdong Province received 6.2851 million foreign tourists, continuing to rank first in the country.
——In 2007, the countries with international tourism (foreign exchange) income exceeding US$100 million were Guangdong, Shanghai, Beijing, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong, Liaoning, Yunnan, Tianjin, Heilongjiang, Hunan, Shaanxi, 28 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) including Guangxi, Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, Hubei, Chongqing, Anhui, Henan, Hebei, Hainan, Shanxi, Jiangxi, Jilin, Xinjiang, Tibet, and Guizhou. Guangdong Province’s tourism (foreign exchange) revenue reached US$8.706 billion, continuing to rank first in the country.
