Which district of Guangzhou does Chebei belong to?
CheBei, alias Longxi, is located in the eastern suburb of Guangzhou, between Zhongshan Avenue and Huangpu Avenue. It originally belonged to Dongpu Town and now belongs to Tianhe District. Sun Longxi, a college student in the Southern Song Dynasty and descendant of Wang Daofu, a minister of the Ministry of War, built the village and developed it vigorously. Later generations renamed the village Longxi to commemorate Wang Longxi's merits. And on the Dragon Boat Festival every year, a flag with the words Longxi is inserted to show that you are pregnant with Myanmar. Later, because the village belongs to Chebeibao, it was called Chebei Township in the Ming Dynasty, and now it is called Chebei Village.
